    How to Create a Stylized Portrait Made From Newspapers
    In today's episode we combine vintage newspapers with a portrait to create a piece of art. Learn how to apply filters to your subject to make them appear like an illustration, then add texture to that illustration in a few easy steps.
    Filter Gallery
    The Filter Gallery is filled with tons of great ways to add style to your images. If you are looking for a little creativity, the Filter Gallery is a great place to start.
    In this episode we start out by applying the "Cutout" filter which will make an image look like an illustration. In the following steps we turn that illustration into a series of selections.
    Use the Magic Wand tool to select different areas based on lightness. Be sure the "Contiguous" option is not checked.
    After each selection is made, load that selection as a layer mask on a new group.
    Place your textures in each group, restricting their visibility to the layer mask selection.
    Use Levels to adjust the brightness of your texture (newspaper) layers.
    Helpful hints:
    Unlink your layer with it's layer mask. This will allow you to move each independently.
    Use Levels to adjust each texture layer, making it appear similar to the original values.
    Use any texture of your choice. In this episode we choose to use newspaper, but you are free to use any images!

    You know, Adobe should hire you to be like the " in program " tutorial guy. What i mean by this is that lets say when someone is having trouble with a tool, there would be a tutorial option for it and when that someone would click on it your video would pop up. :D

    Again - amazing video! I've been watching tutorials on TH-cam for years and I am so happy that I found a channel who makes them simple, educational, stylish and professional!
    I would love it if you make a tutorial for making a real comic style portrait with the cutout lines, the dots and all that good stuff we see on t-shirts and so on, cause I searched all over the net and the tutorials I find are just not at the same level and I know you can pull it off!
    Keep up the fantastic work!

    Hey Aaron..I am one of ur biggest phans from India...i love all of ur videos....but i have this problem .....
    I'm trying to faceswap in some pictures (a person's nose onto other person's nose) and keep running into one problem in particular. Here is what I'm doing:
    1. Cut out person's face with lasso tool
    2. Paste it over other person's face
    3. Reduce opacity and line faces up perfectly (focusing on eyes)
    4. Select->Modify->contract by 5 pixels
    5. Switch to other person's face and delete currently selected space
    6. Select both layers
    7. Edit-> auto-blend layers
    BUT, there are always small amounts 'blank' (transparent) space left between the face cut out and other person's face. Does that make sense? What do I do to fix it? Contract more? less?
    Thanks for the help!!
