- Warning: probably the longest and nerdiest video I’ve ever uploaded, but only to answer the notorious question “how many ways can you play a Cmaj7 on the guitar?” with the answer “yes”. 🤓🎸👌
In this lesson I show all the possible ways of playing a Major 7 chord on the guitar. That includes all possible voicings, spreads and inversions that you can grip on the guitar neck.
check out guitar george. he knows all the chords..
plays 65 chords in one take, including about 40 shapes i never even heard of, and then says "sorry" the one moment you hit one wrong note. truly unbelievable video! wowwww 🙌🙌🙌
haha i must say that i didnt even plan to make this video, but after shedding it for couple of hours, spontaneously decided to just start filming, and a second into the video, I realised its going to be quite challenging to nail it all in one take, but luckily survived 😅
this is amazing. i'd pay you to make charts of all these!!
@@raineslucas333 email me and we can figure this out :)
wow! Good morning, Sir! i would like to learn the theory behind this. Can you help me with some good resources? i am kinda lost here
@@nitzbohald4775 I’m not sure where you can find that entire theory in one place, but if you google some chord voicing theory I’m sure you’l find some good reference. Otherwise, I also offer guitar and music theory/harmony online lessons, so you can email me
I sometimes cannot remember where i have left my cellphone and my car keys let alone keep an encylopedia of chord forms in my memory

brother nothing is usless, this is how you keep yourself from progressing.
Is drop two the second note from right to left?
Drop 2 refers to the second highest note from a closed voicing (the “alto voice”). When u have closed voicing root position, it will be the 5th, when its first inversion it will be the 7th, when u have second inversion it will be the root, and when u have third inversion it would be the 3rd
