I am an Irish Pagan of over 60 yrs of the old paths of the tuatha de dannan. Our Pagan beliefs come from belief in nature , all of our land have spirits, streams, woods, stones. What an honest beautiful belief. Saoirse
The term “celtic spirituality” is very similar to the term “Native American spirituality” in that they are both so broad, encompassing many tribes over a large time periods. I appreciate that you mention finding the answers in silence, and acknowledging that elders and great spirits are still there to teach us in nature. I find it to be false when people say that Celtic people didn’t do this or that with spirituality simply because there isn’t a written record, if we can’t know that they did, we also don’t know they didn’t, especially considering how broad of a time period and people we are referring to. Also, Celtic people are still alive and if they are spiritual, that’s Celtic spirituality.

I was born in America, my ancestors are from Ireland, Scotland, and Wales. I was raised a Christian, but I've had so many questions along the way that are just confusing to me. I started diving recently into paganism and then started feeling guilty and even more confused. This video has given me much peace. Dear Stella, 50 years ago I was born in Germany and nearly my whole life I always ask myself WHY? Why I was born in a land where I felt so out of place. More than the last 15 years I did a lot of healing work for my ancestors and me. Always guided by my Higher Self (consciously or unconsciously :-) I moved from northern Germany to the east, where I spent the last 15 years. To speak to our ancestors, to feel them and to heal their path means healing for us. Recent research suggests that the Celts didn't reach Ireland in significant numvers. Modern Irish are descendants of preceltic people genologically speaking. There is also some evidence that the cultural markers currently identified as "Celtic" may have in fact originated in western europand moved east rather than brought west with the Celts. At 73 years of age now, I think it's fair to say my path has been a long one with many and many a twist and turn. Yet, and looking back over all that time, Nature has always been my tried and true spiritual healer. And it's only been in the past 20 years or so that I've learned the majority of my ancestry is almost entirely Scottish sprinkled with Saxony French and German. As a young adult, I began studying, and living herbal and nutritional healing, but the work and commitments of family and earning a living pulled me away from the full commitment to being the Seeker I've always been. Now your channel comes to me! Thank you!

I mean, there's not just one Celtic spirituality. Think of how many Christian sects there are and they mostly follow the same book. Most pagan spiritualities had regional differences. And the term Celtic covers a VAST landmass and various time periods, spirituality is never static
@@tux_duh oh cool! I kinda would like to know more, also I am aware of regional differences and that, that the most of it, is probably aquired from roman texts? I do enjoy morphing parts of spiritual evolution... I hope my last sentence makes sense... 😁

Rab c, Nesbit , still game, scotch and rye,‘Stanley Baxter Humour is a big thing in Glasgow, you can’t beat a good laugh🏴🌹🙏
Today I participated in a meditation in person with a group that was also connected by zoom with people all over the world. The facilitators were in Glastonbury England. They brought us to the 12th dimension energetically, then called in the energy of Jesus, Mother Mary, and the Druids. I didn’t expect anything other than a nice meditation. When I felt the energy of the Druids I suddenly felt so happy, I had a huge grin. I felt like my friends had come back to me after being gone a long time. I’ve never had a thought like that about Druids before. I have studied psychic healings and readings, etc. The experience with the Druid energy was such a profound feeling, I went home and started learning about Druids. It’s sad so much has been lost, but I feel a sense of having been a Druid in a past life. I know next to nothing about Druids and don’t claim to be anything special. I’m just sharing my experience in the hopes someone may reach out who knows more than I about it.
Given that my white ancestors came from Ireland, England, Scotland, France, The Netherlands, Germany, Poland & Norway, I've been interested in looking into Germanic & Celtic beliefs. Dear God, is what we know about the Celtic religion an absolute mess. Lol There's kind of a superficial collection of things most people kind of agree on that is given as a general idea that we do understand it, followed by hundreds of pages of stories, archaeological finds & documentation that seems to strongly suggest otherwise. But, it's fun to look into, just from an aspect of understanding where our peoples came from. According to what I've read, coming from the Irish, this is also the whitest religion ever. The gods establish dynasties & pass on their godship & power through their family lines, everything that exists already explicitly belongs to something, somewhere, somehow & not to you & you have to have symbolically screwed a god in order to have the right to be king.
It hasn't been long since making this video but i've come to absolutely love the mystery within it all and allowing it to unfold into my own life and my communities life, as the Celtic tradition was always a living tradition, it was never one thing because life itself is ever changing.

I've interviewed an expert on the subject 'Pretani Wisdom Traditions' if you'd like to check out my podcast episode 1 here on TH-cam. 🤍 I'm glad you love it too!
Would Lancashire be classed as one of those parts of England?
I'm unsure. Look into it and let me know :)

Grateful to be shown this video that currently only has 215 views and 32 likes! This is really important work. “White” ppl especially need to unlearn our post-colonial mindset and re-connect with healthier ancestral practices! It’s especially challenging to find good information in this direction- tysm I will definitely be following your work.
I appreciate that! I feel something is being pulled from deeeeep within our cultures and i'm now devoted to becoming toe vessel for the teachings. I only just noticed this comment, thanks again!
Interview Lora O’Brian (affiliated with the Irish Pagan School)!
Is it Celtic spirituality tough?
I mean, there's not just one Celtic spirituality. Think of how many Christian sects there are and they mostly follow the same book. Most pagan spiritualities had regional differences.
And the term Celtic covers a VAST landmass and various time periods, spirituality is never static
@@tux_duh oh cool! I kinda would like to know more, also I am aware of regional differences and that, that the most of it, is probably aquired from roman texts? I do enjoy morphing parts of spiritual evolution... I hope my last sentence makes sense... 😁
I think the podcast I just released with someone who has expertise on the subject would help you!!

3:35 I'm a male witch. I figured since I started working with the Morrigan, I might as well dive a little bit deeper into celtism.
This just confused me even more to be honest. Because why do ever other sources say otherwise?
What are you confused about in particular?

This sounds beautiful! I actually have a video coming out about Druid soon. Recommend the book by Ronald Hutton called blood and mistletoe

I'm here beacause I'm Welsh and our country is lost
