    lol that first basic 16th up-arp in the track that you didn't like, wasn't that bad. Had that galloping feel.

    I’m trying that speed variation on logic but doesn’t work quite as well as how you do. Love that effect!

    • @dilbydj
      @dilbydj  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm sure it's possible to do something similar. I don't use Logic though, so can't be much help there unfortunately.

      @sidlvaga 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@dilbydj yes there is but it’s not as seamless as what you’ve shown, I’ll keep trying different arps, thanks for your reply 🙏

    Bro, sorry, currently what features does your PC have (CPU, RAM) and what version of ableton do you use, I'm looking for one to work something very similar to what you do... (Tech, deep, afro), thanks! 🙏

    • @dilbydj
      @dilbydj  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      AMD Ryzen 5 5600X CPU, 32gb ram, Ableton Live 11.
      But I also use this computer for video editing. You can produce on a pretty modest computer.

    • @dindin827droid
      @dindin827droid 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @dilby what do you think of a macbook pro with 8 ram and an i5 processor? It is to produce afrohouse

    • @dilbydj
      @dilbydj  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@dindin827droid pc is better for afro house

    • @dilbydj
      @dilbydj  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@dindin827droid no, I'm joking about the pc for afro house thing. What I will say is that you can get a much higher spec pc than Mac for the same price. The most bang for your buck is going to be a desktop pc that you put together yourself. I switched from Mac to pc a few years back. My pc is a beast and cost significantly less than the cheapest new MacBook Pro
      There are minimum requirements on the Ableton website.
      Use whatever you have at your disposal and if need be work towards upgrading, but don't let it stop you from being creative.

    • @dilbydj
      @dilbydj  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you really want to buy a Mac for production I think the Mac mini is probably the most efficient investment

  • @antlengray

    Hey man! Thanks for your tutorials once again!! I have a question 😇 How do you add those extra empty notes? th-cam.com/video/4tMXE5Dpc0U/w-d-xo.html

    • @dilbydj
      @dilbydj  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ah, right. Good point!
      I added the ones with the drums first, then move the clip to a midi track that doesn't have a drum rack. That way you can see the full piano roll. I then added the notes and move it back to the track with the drum rack.
