    Nicely done. I was born and raised there. Canal Zone is no longer, but what a time! Fortunately my dad was a free diving spearo and I got to free dive both oceans. Paddled the annual Ocean to Ocean race, in a dugout canoe. Took 3 days. Went through the canal in that dugout. What a perspective. Nice vid.

    Spent 4 months on a transshipment vessel in the Gulf of Parita in 1978 during my time as a Marine Engineer. Large crude oil carriers would load in Valdez, Alaska, however they were too large for the Panama Canal back then; so would load vessels on the other side of our vessel (which could transit the canal, and any remaining cargo would be held by our vessel.

    Dunno if your dingy will hold out long enough, but Mads from 'Sail Life' who is in the BVI's is building a dinghy, and is creating the forms for the fiber glass with his 3D printer - a Prusa Mini, which costs $400 or so, and would have been handy anyway for loads of your jobs. He reckons he can build a 12 foot dinghy for $3000 or so.

    • @davidmartin3947
      @davidmartin3947 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      If Linh should fancy doing a bit of husband-swapping with Aya from 'Sail Life' then the differences between Teal and Mads will make it difficult to remember which one she is
      primarily responsible for!
      So on looking at his projected dinghy build, he said:
      'Every project starts with a good list!'
      And here is a comment from a poster on his vlog:
      ' Mads pulling a typical Mads: While pointing at a spotless, well ordered setup of cable-beauty saying: ”Please excuse the mess.” …;)'
      Somehow that reminds me of someone! ;-)
      Being Danish though Mads can only speak English, not proper American like Teal, and if she still can't remember which is which, their beards are rather differently styled....

    • @OnboardLifestyle
      @OnboardLifestyle  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      We actually talked to Mads about that. He is building it this summer. We may look into it after his build. 😊😊😊

      @@OnboardLifestyle As you will know, he is making the design arrived at with the help of a naval architect public domain.
      Lindh, if you manage to get Teal to adopt it without modification, then I will buy you several meals, and bow down in awe! 🙂
      But we both know that is so much not happening....;-)
      Building your own for $3k is so you guys though, providing you can fix floats or something to your present dinghy/submarine in the meantime...

    • @linhgobenyt

      Pacific skip jacks are very dark and have a very strong fish taste that is overpowering. Even if it is properly bled out. It is not a preferred eating fish for most people who have tried it. Very similar to a jack cravalle.

    The worst for me is that im a parent of three girls, the oldest same age. The great thing I can say that I am a business owner and I get to stay at home 24/7 .... We wrestle, we play together, we go to the park together, it's like five as one and as we're trying to do the best we can... but after two minutes and 20 seconds! I just couldn't concentrate and watch the rest ... watching my kids commenting, of, just on that, was such a disappointment.
    If the decision was to post that part is because it was accepted instead of not showing those bad moments. We blindly make good and bad choices and I respect that .... I rhink is time to go.
    By the way! before you judge me I am a latino married to a native Americans. Her and I come from a culture of breakfast lunch and dinner with well restricted things on what not to do.
    An hour later still talking.... I just had to go and make my peace. Carefully choosing my words. At the end I'm just 1 in 66.3k and will not be missed..
