- I decided to make this video due to several messages I got from users looking for the best approach to paint animations using the fill tools of #TupiTube Desk.
So, in this video, I show the creation process of a short exercise sharing some tips that can help you to create cool animations taking advantage of the current state of the fill tools. I hope you like it and learn something new! :)

At the beginning of this video I was a little bit confused...Like 'what?', 'how?', 'eh?' :-D The excercise with the dog would be good enough for me to understand, I can't help myself :-) The examples at the beginning changed chaotic and quickly for my right understanding...But the doggie at the end is absolutely cute :-3
I am sorry, I always try to explain myself the most clearly. About the video, the key to the exercise is to use the layers in a smart way and that's it.
By the way, I would love to watch one exercise made by you using this technique. ;)

Suppose I have an Inkscape file with several grouped objects. I move the rotation center of one shape to another shape, creating a joint. Is there any way that Tupitube can recognize that joint?
Not yet. I need to enhance the rotation feature of the Selection tool to allow that kind of behavior. Although in my opinion, all the features related to the joints manipulation should be included in the (pending) characters module; that should be the accurate solution for this kind of requirements.

Es recomendable TupiTube si es que uso una tableta gráfica? Porque a veces no puedo hacer una sola línea el programa me lo corrige y aveces lo arruina
La herramienta del Lápiz viene con una opción de configuración que se llama "Suavidad". Por omisión, viene activada con el valor de 4, si la colocas en 0, el programa ya no trata de corregir las líneas que traces. Este es un vídeo en donde hago referencia a esta opción. after drawing object, i grouped it for coloring,but only allow to color part of it and appeared "sorry groups can not be filled yet" message.. then i tried to change color of already filled part of object ,but it doesn't allow to fill again and same error message appeared. source file:gofile.io/d/8LLyCv

I found a bug with the fill tool: The fill only works when clicking on a shape created with the smoothness autofix feature turned on for brushes. I can't get it to work on shapes which aren't drawn with that feature turned on. Is this intentional?

If you are planning to create a series with several chapters and hours of animation, I recommend you to use a professional tool (Adobe Animate, Toom Boom, etc). TupiTube is designed to introduce children and teenagers into animation.
On the other hand, TupiTube provides a library panel, that you can use to implement the "cut-out" technique. In that way, you could save a lot of time by reusing characters and components. This feature would allow you to create small scenes in an easy way. In any case, think of TupiTube as a tool to create basic and short animation exercises. That's it.
Hey man. I get it. But you got to remember..it's not the tool itself, it's the person who uses it. Yea tupitube is not going to have all the fancy features fancy animation softwares like toom boom have. But if you put in enough time in patience, you'll get a show.

Yes, you are right. We are working on it.

TupiTube is a vector-based tool (like Inkscape), not a raster tool. Anyway, I want you to know that we are working on implementing a fill bucket with the same features of a raster tool.
