I just got accepted to WKU today🥰🥰 how do I get a room to myself? I was supposed to be going to wku with a friend but she’s starting at a different time then me so i don’t want to room with someone random.
Congratulations! It can be a little tricky now obtaining a private room. Initially you will most likely be assigned a roommate but when all the rooms are assigned you can request a room change to an empty room if available. If you have any documentation of a specific need that would require you to have a private I would do that. Also there is a high demand for RA’s, they get private rooms but it is a job on campus.
They usually encourage freshman not to. Everything you need on campus is at easy access especially with the campus bus we have. If you would like to grocery shop or have a job off campus though I would say yes

Usually yes! I do suggest calling housing and asking again since COVID-19 has brought a lot of changes.
Should freshman bring a car to college?? I’m currently debating for next year for WKU
