FLAMINGO LAND RESORT! - A Sik Birthday Visit - Vlog 7th June 2023

- Join me and a couple of social media personalities, Darren (AdventureMe) and the legendary Mark (Disney Mark) as we hit up a very quiet Flamingo Land Resort
This visit was for my 44th birthday day out but mainly for the awesome rides of course lol, obviously the highlight of the day is the incredible Sik, a 10 looping masterpiece
On our visit the park was very quiet meaning pretty much everything was a walk on, we did the majority of the park apart from the Zoo as we had Tilly (our dog) with us, yes they allow dogs in the park
We all had an awesome time and with me being in the European Coaster Club I get 50% off day ticket prices for up to 5 people, bargain !!!

An RMC would be great but there are limitations on rides they can build at the back due to the animals and noise pollution If an RMC was to be built, i believe it is likely to have its own large area towards the front of the park as there is a large grass area owned by the park. (If you look closely on SIK's foundations, you can see paths already in place to expand to that area.)
That would make sense, we just think a new large coaster at the back would look amazing
@@Coaster_Crazy Yeh I completely agree, unfortunately though, from the point that I worked at the park, flamingoland didn't own the land behind Kumali. The land is split with a stream which marks properties. You never know though, they could've bought it by now...

Happy birthday! I went on thursday the whole park was a walk on! I rode sik 3 times in a row. Its a great ride but very rattly towards the front!
Yeah was the same on our visit and we could have done way more rides on Sik but it can get too much
@@Coaster_Crazy id spread the re rides throughout the day. Mumbo jumbo is my fave coaster at the park even though it only runs 1 train on the circuit at a time and stacks!
Flamingo land need to bring back the bullet and magnum force they were the two best rides when we used to come in the 90s and early 2000s

Never been to the UK parks yet, Flamingo Land is high on the list when I do come over thanks to vlogs like this one. To bad for the go gator cred. Happy birthday Andy, i remmember when you first went to Flamingo Land you were not very impressed. I went in 2020 and then this June and i did notice a big improvement, I prefer the zoo myself as i not much of a rider, we went to the animal shows and they were great. I love the train and zoo monorail as you can see the animals. I love watching the coasters, rather you than me!

Haha the girl on Cliffhanger the screams were unmerciful ,wecan sometimes hear the screams from the caravan .
Flamingo Land do have issues with height stuff. For sik they had to really push to get it built. That's why it's grey.
Cliffhanger is white at the top because of that too.
It all depends on sightlines from around the park

Nice video, really enjoyed and always look forward to the next, Happy Birthday. Hope you had a good & fun day. Started day & finished day on Sik coaster, thinking at this rate may aswell get rid of Colossus especially if Flamingo land Resort is the best version? Make it one that everyone goes to ride instead of having two in the UK, although I suppose having two versions isn't actually a bad thing? One with overhead restraints & one with lap bars? Could try one before the other if not ok without the overhead harness? Not ready for lap bar version especially if new to these types of upside down coasters? Thinking honestly in my opinion could do with a GCI Wooden Coaster here first, then an RMC Coaster, still by the way have my opinions on RMC fitting into UK landscapes, think they stand out massively, but in the bad sense in the UK be bad reasons. If build one, in my opinion think they will need a theme & story massively, think even CGI wooden coaster would aswell. Think this park lacks theming in and around its rides, coasters and think the little bits of theming isn't enough, they need more. But good park, with loads of potential, still need to make a visit in future which will judge more on in person, but from what I see through videos needs more theming massively in places especially in and around rides, coasters etc. But nice video, really enjoyed and look forward to next videos & vlogs in future. 😀👍
