    NOTES:
“A fundamental problem in terms of why we are so immune-compromised & why we are seeing this pandemic is that we have chronic toxic stress”- Dr. Sara Gottfried, MD
Low glutathione levels appear to be taking covid infections from mild to severe
“The research lead by Dr Alexey V Polonikov , a Professor from Department of Biology and Medical Genetics of Kursk State Medical University, Russia shows that lack or deficiency of endogenous glutathione especially in the older individuals could also be one of the contributing factors leading to the progression of the disease from mild infection to severe conditions.”
    1. What is glutathione?
    Made in liver, in mito
    -anti-viral
    -boosts your immune system
    -helps with Ca+ absorption
    -master detoxifier
    2. What depletes your stores?
    -Aging
    -Diabetes
    -men more than women
    -lack of vegetables
    -alcohol
    -drugs: acetaminophen
    -diets rich in fructose
    -heavy metals bind to glutathione
    3. How would you know if you were low in glutathione?
    Symptoms:
    -Lack of energy
-Joint and muscle aches and pains
    -Foggy brain
    -Frequent infections
    -Poor sleep
    -Anemia
    Conditions:
    -Seizures
    -Alzheimers
    -Dementia
    -Liver Disease
    -Heart Attack
    -Stroke
    4. How do you get enough glutathione?
    1. Give love to your mitochondria (get metabolically flexible)
    fasting
    ketones
    good oils, not bad
    minimize toxins
    2. Add in sulfur rich foods
    cruciferous (broccoli, cauliflower, brussel sprouts)
    3. Supplements
