Love the energy & positivity from both u & ur bro! Uplifting & light hearted vid as usual. Really helping me on my b9 s4 build journey also. Props my friend! Looking forward to what's to come.
I also extended my warranty when I bought the B9 S5 until 2026… and I really really regret doing that because I’m so down bad to go stage 1 but unfortunately my dealer said it will void my warranty if I do any programming tune
We need more mods videos! Also you should really take the ECS intercooler out of the equation and upgrade to IE’s FDS or Wagner.. especially when going stage 3. I hope you try E85 stage 2 and give us the review!:)
I got the 034 Differential Inserts, Transmission Insert, Rear Subframe Inserts, rear sway bar, swar bar endlinks, and Stage 1 ECU/TCU. AWE intake - The car is a totally different animal. I need to get an intercooler and downpipe.. go stage 2 and call it a day.
I basically have the same mods on my S5 SB, except the P34 intake, APR FMIC w/ Charge pipes, and ABT springs, and switched from stage 1 APR on 91, to 034 stage 1 E85 and honestly even from that it is a CRAZY difference. Wish you could experience what e85 is like because my god its amazing.
@@DailyDownshift yeah! Unfortunately there isn’t much gain from a DP in terms of HP. Sound yes but outside of that I can’t justify spending the amount for a HFC for 15 HP. They do sound pretty good tho.
Love the build! I’m stock everything for now except for an ECS X-Pipe. Strongly considering the 034 intake. Just can’t pick between Carbon or the polymer one
I originally ordered the carbon intake w/o knowing the polymer one existed. Once I was aware of it I immediately changed my order to polymer and used the savings towards other parts!
I went strictly for the performance based route. Bought the polymer because i saw too many reviews stating the carbon could yellow over time. Its the wifes car so she will never see under the hood unless i am working on it. Cant go wrong since either intake will yeild the same performance results. Going stage 2 soon. She wants it to sound more like my APR stage 2 C7.5 S6
Just purchased an 21 s4 and coming from an STI im a bit weary of performance mods and the "do's and donts" as far as intake and exhaust mods and any other bolt ons, how far can you go before having to tune it? and what mods are unsafe to run without a tune and also what mods will give you immediate performance without tune?
i’m stage 1 right now with catless downpipe, my burbles are super nice i’m wondering why you chose the catted downpipe over catless. i went with catless dp frm cts
Before I watched your videos I chose the Audi B9 S4/S5 Cast Stainless Steel High Flow Catted Downpipe ES#3979009. Is this the same part you are running on this build?
Hey. I’m bringing my B9 S4 in for the stage 1 ecu (finally) on 4/20. That, oil change and they’re putting on my RS grill for 1160$. I wanted to get the 034 intake as well. You say it’s a super easy install. I did my own car repairs (brakes, timing belt, etc) as a kid, but that was 20 years ago and I’m scared of f’ing up my beautiful car. Is it really that easy? It would definitely save me some money doing it myself. I could get this all done for like 2k. Also, is a stage 1 and an intake a good way to go? It’s stock now. Thanks so much for any advice you can give.
Check that I’m watching your vid now. That’s helpful. Let me ask this then. I’m not super into the car sounding loud or aggressive. I’m more interested in HP gains. For 1000$ is the intake worth it or should I go with something else for the money?
@@christophersalko9851 You won't see much, if any HP gain from an intake but the sound puts a huge smile on my face and livens up the car. You could put that saved money towards an intercooler or a downpipe. Or alternatively a set of lighter wheels
I have a Audi s5 b9 with the 034 Motorsport intake and an xpipe I wanna go stage 1 93 would u recommend getting an intercooler first bc Ik these motors heat soak quick
I have a B9 S4 2018 I want to do a stage 1 tune but leaving everything else stock is this safe to do as I don’t want to compromise my reliability, If do get one is the eurocharge stage 1 a safe option?
If you want to keep the car full stock on stage 1 flash then I would recommend 034 Motorsports tune. They don’t require any hardware for stage 1 and they offer a TCU tune to go along with it. I’ve done a lot of research on them for my ‘19 S5 SB and they’re the only tuners to keep all of the safety features and reliability of the stock flash while still making the best power on the B9 platform. They also offer constant updates and new features for their tunes :)
If you've done all your regular service intervals, brakes etc. and the vehicle is running fine I don't see why not. Just make sure you have the proper bolt-ons
@@DailyDownshift I see, I’m just an intercooler away from being able to go to stage 2 but I was skeptical because of the mileage. Thanks for the reply!

Hi. I have a 2018 s4 do you have any links to buy the same catted downpipe please.

@@DailyDownshift what are you thought on doing a stage one on a brand new 22 s4 still under factory warranty
@@devloncowart2643 I bought a used s4 for that exact reason. A tune will void your warranty but it makes a huge difference
where do you buy all of your parts in canada?
When you get the stage 2 ECU 💯% get the stage 2 TCU tune as well. I'm running both on my S4 and it's so good.

So tempting to go crazy with the mods on my 18 S4..but I extended the CPO warranty till 2026 😔 keep up with the B9 content bro!

Been thinking about the sway bars myself. But believe me the downpipe and intake really liven it up
can’t wait for my downpipe to come in. pairing it with the 034 x pipe. i’ll be going from stage 1 93 to stage 2 e85 :)
Bro, I’ve seen all your vids. You will absolutely enjoy stage 2 TCU. No need to delay. Do it before stage 2 ECU. So you can tell how fire it is.

Pretty hard to come by e85 here but I'm going to stage 2 next week so that will be fun. Nice build!

Can you do some revs and pulls on comfort mode .. I want mine to be cool in sound but quiet when I want it
Opinions on why the S4 would be a better purchase than M340i and C43.... I'm currently in this dillema yet I like different aspects of each car 😳

With the downpipes, did you get a CEL before the flash?
The ambient lighting is optional right ? In that case in which package the car comes with it ? I kind of saw that the S4’s with B&O audio has it

No issues other than turbo changed under warranty (very rare issue). Made a video about it

I haven't, and I took it to a track and drag strip last summer
