Charlie should definitly do the canceled project known as skull and shark, cause that one also gives the cyberpunk/eldrich vibe, the characters where based off of the musical idea of the synthwave bans called lazerhawk, not sure if any of yall heard of lazerhawk but yeah, they came up with those characters but the guy who made the animated series never did finished it, probably because lazerhawk probably lost interest in it or maybe the there wasn't enough money to fund the project? Who knows.
The animation style of 2D blended with CG is done here so well. The way the characters move and dance to the music and how the timing of each frame shows kinetic and potential energy in such a cool way is seriously cool. Fantastic job to you and everyone involved

I absolutely love the amount of emphasis put on the characters slap in the panels. It really gives the viewer a feeling of the character’s potential energy in each slap (referring to around 1:50 in the animation). Also really great job in blending all the difference 3D and 2D aspects of it

This is actually super cool, I love the layering of these effects to give it the illusion of depth. That scene with the hand of the boss swinging is fantastic and a perfect example. Because the closer it is to camera the faster it would be moving, it gives the sense of movement even from very small motions. The way you build anticipation of impact is great.
Thanks, yes I tried dev those movements and shots so the flow would sell the "scale" of it. As with limited budgets you can't just cell frame animated everything so you have to be resourceful with how you execute some shots.
i'm not exaggerating when i say that this is the most talented animation studio of the modern era. so many studios are basically glorified flash animators, but y'all guys are outstanding at what y'all do and the style is something that i've never seen before. no matter if its a animation for moistcr1tikal or whatever, i hope y'all keep making banger films.

But the trippy colors/effects really set the video apart. if I had to pick one thing its the transluscent birds, but any trippy art tutorials would be appreciated alottt. All the better if the tutorial is in or easily translated to Blender, but I'd really appreciate any tutorials on how to make the trippy colors/effects.
