    I honestly love the designs of all the different mechs, namely the flying ships that are just literally big laser cannons attached to wings and jets, and the big rectangular weapons platforms, so fuckin' awesome!
    I now just am in total awe, being an artist myself who's very slowly doing animation of his own, I can only imagine that all this took probly like at least a good fuckin' 2 weeks to a month or even more.
    Unless whatever program you used for this really helped cut down on a ton of the work you'd have to do otherwise, to be honest rigging kinda is probly what you'd use for that, but yeah.
    Love it anyways! So fucking awesome!

    When the running dude came apart and showed the billion pieces i came, as an after effects user, just thinking about the amount of layers makes my brain commit death, this style of creating individual pieces of a big model dependant on the perspective (like the isometric scenes, and the jet planes head on) all inside a 3d space is extremely cool, it reminds me of the blender grease pencil, where people have done crazy 3d environments all out of 2d drawn textures inside blender, super cool and super underrated, keep doing what you guys do.

    • @SakowskiStudios
      @SakowskiStudios  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      2.5d I like to call it. That's why storyboard/previs is so important, as it locks in your camera perspective which everything will be designed to. Isometric is great as you can duplicate one asset multiple times (such as the siege-tank) and it will still fit the perspective no matter where you place it.

    This is just...fascinating. Despite the ridiculous premise of the music video, the sheer quality of the animation is superb. And seeing each individual part of a scene and how it all layers together is so damn cool. Like I said, it’s just fascinating. Amazing job.

    Charlie helped make this freaking song? I've been listening to this song for months; literally playing it on repeat, and never saw the music video. I've been watching Charlie for even longer, and now its all connected. I had no idea. What a masterpiece

    I've never had the means to create digital art or animation, and I never truly realized how much layering there is for even a single obect/being/scene. It is genuinely amazing and awe-inspiring to see the level of quality and work it takes to create something like this. Truly legendary. I hope one day I can create anything as cool as this

    I love the fact that the lasers in the animation have recoil not because of anything wrong with the physics but because it implies that these guns are firing out enough energy in the form of light (Electromagnetic Radiation) to move those massive tank barrels and guns. this is an insane amount of energy all coming from semen. For reference on how much energy this is, a 300 megawatt laser would only have about 1 newton of recoil, about as much as an apple on your hand. A 300 megawatt laser can easily cut through solid steel and is about 60,000 times more powerful than industrial laser cutters. The lasers we are seeing have hundreds of thousands of times the recoil as the 300 megawatt laser and therefore would be hundreds of thousands of times more powerful. This would be in the scale of gigawatts to terawatts of power. For each cannon blast... multiply this by the cannon blasts per battle times the battles fought and you have the energy expenditure of just the cannons alone. not to mention the guns or the flying annihilators. Semen is so energy efficient that it can easily provide enough energy for every battle that skynut fought (they took out humanity). Semen would have had to supply not terawatts, not petawatts, but exawatts of power. if instead of using semen, skynut used nuclear energy, they would need literal billions of nuclear reactors to make that much energy. Alternatively if they went the route of solar, they would need to cover all of earths landmass with solar panels over 9,000,000 times over to get that much energy. If you were to turn this energy directly into mass it would be at LEAST 441,000 pounds of material. My theory, semen can be transferred directly into energy via e=mc^2. now for the takeaway. Kids, if you ever want to take over earth, you need at least 441,000 pounds of semen to do it. feel free to add on or tell me where I went wrong, this was mostly back of the napkin math and estimating so there is bound to be some error. Id guess I'm pretty close to the lower end of the estimation.

    • @SakowskiStudios
      @SakowskiStudios  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      well technically all animation is made this way it's just that we did inside after effects rather than photographing cells against a background. Even the animation from the early days of disney layered their backgrounds like this (I think they pioneered it). They had to stack the layers in this big multi-plane camera contraption to get the same effect. You can watch a video on them explaining it here th-cam.com/video/3YIR39KeJMk/w-d-xo.html So yeah, all animation is done this way, just digitally now. It's usually the character and FX animation that is all at 24 fps.
