    This video is the literal FIRST I've seen on watching 3D video with the XReal pro. I can watch 3D in a cheap VR headset (Google Cardboard style) and VLC using my cell as the screen. It makes sense that The XReal should be able to play 3D. Thank you for posting this.

      Thank you for your kind words!. Please, let me know if there's anything else that you might want to see. There's a limit of what can be said but my experience with compatible files was really good. Sad about the issue with mkv files and youtube not working (at least for me)

      @@FTACatch-up I assume the app you used was a dedicated one for the Xreal Beam. I have used Android VLC for 3D viewing with success. I rip them from the BluRay, them compress them for a dedicated device (such as a Samsung phone) then load into the cell. The Beam's 32gb storage should allow me to upload directly to the Beam. In my opinion, 32 GB seems too low for a modern storage device.

      @@toonman361 I used "Nebula" (for android). This app kind of "mimics" the Xreal Beam in your android phone. I didn't manage to watch 3D movies SBS with VLC in the beam but I'll check what you said. I agree with you, 32 GB is too low and I also think the beam is too slow. What I like the most is the battery life. Thanks for sharing!

    Can it stream media from DLNA PC server like VLC ( I mean 3dof in AR Space Nebula, not air casting VLC 0dof) ? if not, is there any app in Nebula to use DLNA 3dof ? I ordered one and still waiting, so just curious. Thank you.

      This is a great question. Unfortunately I don't know the answer. If that was possible it would be amazing. I personally didn't find a way to do that at the time of testing and limited the testing to 3D SBS video as it was the most popular use case at the time. The nebula app is quite limited in what it allows you to do BUT you can see certain apps from the nebula app itself in android. Some apps compatible with the Nebula app like FarePlay or into 3D that allow handling 3dof and could be a good starting point to check. I felt most apps feel quite experimental but there's some remote hope. However, I checked and didn't see any immediately obvious option to allow this.
      Given that you already ordered the glasses. Once you receive them, if possible, could you please let me know if any of it is possible? Many thanks 🙏

    I have the current Nebula for Android (3.8.0) but I don't see a media player nor a file explorer to access my sbs video stored on the phone. Where are those two apps?

    • @FTACatch-up
      @FTACatch-up  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Open the Nebula App, choose "AR space" once it's open navigate to the section "TV" (it's on the right side, you can see it at 3:29 (between "photos" and "amazon"). Once you tap there, click media player and you should be able to navigate. Let me know if that helps

    it needs a phone screen off mode for air casting like there is for smart view

    • @FTACatch-up
      @FTACatch-up  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Something I noticed is that screen is off when using VLC (air casting), but that would be great if applied across all apps

    Will this work with xreal air (v1) glasses too?

    • @FTACatch-up
      @FTACatch-up  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I don't own xreal air v1 but sbs 3d should be supported. If you own an xreal air v1 you can get the Nebula 3.7.0 from the google play store, give it a go and let me know.
      You can also download the app (at the time of writing) from community.xreal.com/t/new-nebula-app-v3-7-0-for-non-gp-users/5298/3

    is it possible with beam ?

    • @FTACatch-up
      @FTACatch-up  วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      as far as I'm aware it is not possible out of the box. Also the beam wouldn't be powerful enough and the experience would be subpar after some hacks

    • @FTACatch-up
      @FTACatch-up  วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      according to xreal's compatibility table, the samsung s23 ultra won't be able to run AR space 🙁and will only work with air casting (mirroring what you see from your phone)

      @@UnrealDailyFun You can find the compatible phones here xreal.com/compatibility/ but be aware of why would you buy the beam in the first place. There's also the beam pro and there's also the Nebula app. At the moment the main functionality of the beam is like a private video player/phone. Research before making a decision. Wish you all the best! 😎
