- Surprisingly it's challenging to find good Dim Sum in Taipei despite being so close to Hong Kong. I gave this spot a try near the Sun Yat Sun Memorial Hall area and thought it was good, but it wasn't the best I've ever had.

Nice looking restaurant! BBQ Cheung Fun looks amazing, melt in your mouth rice roll! Piping hot, don't burn yourself! I like the Dim Sum sampler! When it falls apart that means it's fresh! Everything looks delicious! 😋

Try the Plum Blossom Hall, located inside of the Brothers Hotel on Nanjing E Road. It's a luxurious dim sum place with the carts. Go to the first seating otherwise be prepared to wait.

I'd be interested to try the turnip cakes because years ago, in London, at a buffet, I put a large amount of what I thought were mashed potatoes on my plate, but they turned out to be turnips and I didn't care for them. Maybe my tastes have changed. Glad you enjoyed your meal!
