Anyone can say whatever they want, but this is... Minifigure scale. While the minifigure can't fit in the vehicle, you could still animate it like so thanks to the doors.
I honestly don't mind "kibble" in either mode of this particular build. I think those parts look like unobtrusive design elements of their respective modes regardless, and the wings on the robot mode look stylish. Definitely a much smarter way of using alt mode elements than stuffing them into a brick on the robot's back. 😅 I even thought the alt mode looked really good all on its own and I'd consider it a pretty neat custom car design even if it didn't transform. Lots of transformers have gaps in the form of the alt mode or other details that really make the transformation obvious at a quick glance but here I felt like I'd really need to look for hints in the truck mode, aside from a few clips. But again. No big gaps anywhere and the alt mode genuinely looks like a cool Lego truck. This is great, awesome work all around. 🤩👍
The problem with legacy Strongarm is actually the same as it is with studio series WFC Prime, whenever people think about the charecter they think about the old toy but not the actual charecter, even tho in both cases old toys had absolutely inaccurate proportions. If you'll watch the show or look at the promo images of RID Strongarm, her animation model was pretty feminine, in fact legacy figure has more bulkier shoulders than her show model.
I completely disagree. I am very familiar with Strongarm's show model and while she certainly is feminine she also has strong looking proportions with large broad shoulders and chunky boot like legs. I don't think the legacy toy captures that vibe at all.
@@studentscissorswhat are you talking about? legacy Strongarm has a bigger shoulderpads than rid one because it's not just the wheels this time, but also sides of front bumper, they just sit higher because they are not attached to the arms. Legs are very close match to the cartoon, they are chunky enough, it's just white overpaint that takes away some depth, if you look at custom repaints legs look much better with extra blue. The only things really that is inaccurate is the croch and feet, missing kneepads and the oversized shoulderpads of course, but I don't think that differentiation is a bad thing.
@@bacproduction7186 I completely agree. In all honesty Legacy Strongarm is one of the better translations into Legacy outside of the Unicron Trilogy stuff. She's bulky in the right spots and even using the Minerva mold, she still looks stronger. Would I have wanted a unique mold? Sure but what was achieved with a remold is not at all a disservice to the character when you take in how the Prime characters look in Legacy. (And both Prime and RID share the same damn continuity too)

I wonder, is the Legacy RID Filch as unappealing to you as to lead you to build her in your G1 style? I myself and unpleased, because why not use Movie Line AirRazor, the more fun transformer. The Kingdom mold is 1. overdone and 2. way too bulky.
First of all, she looks cool! Great Job! & second, I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thinks her Legacy toy kinda sucks! Despite me not being a big fan of RID15, Strongarm was definitely one of the better parts! & in the show, she was a good blend of bulky & powerful, AND slimmer & feminine build, which the Legacy toy lacks. With her using the Elita/Minerva mold, she inherited their smaller build, which she never had, & it makes the toy look bad. The Elita/Minerva mold fits Elita & Minerva alot more. & her Legacy toy's proportions are ALL wrong, her head is WAYY too big, her shoulders look wrong (the truck parts ARE her shoulders in the show, not on top of them), WAYY too slim build, etc! I REALLY hope Strongarm would get a proper Legacy toy thats actually accurate! Imo, Strongarm & Shadowstriker are 2 of the WORST Legacy toys ever! Massive disappointments. I'm not a Unicron Trilogy fan, but their Legacy toys, TFP Jet twins & Bulkhead, & the TFA figures are ALOT better translations into the Generations aesthetic!! (TFP Knockout is pretty decent too, Arcee looks off as TFP Arcee) Shadowstriker from Cyberverse is one of my fav characters & I was SO excited for her to get a Legacy toy, but it ended up being a MASSIVE disappointment! Tbh, the Elita/Minerva mold might fit Shadowstriker more than Strongarm! Specifically her base form, without the Frankenstein parts.

Have you ever thought of doing an Astrotrain? Using the lego tracks for scale, you might be able to get a lot of room for transformation

i was re-watching this the other day and it felt so weird to see the transformation process without your modern theme.

Legacy elite one also is held back by the weaker proportions. Strong arm and elite both needed more powerfull looking figures. Also this design rocks
