I always imagined if Dropkick and Shatter were G1 characters, then the triple-changing aspect would have been made up for the Bay/Knight movies. But I’ve also entertained the idea of duocons, since they actually did the reverse to Flywheels in IDW. I have to say that car origami is freaking insane. And the way the front and back ends have been simplified feels like exactly how a g1 toy would have handled a classic muscle car alt mode. (Like seriously. Look at g1 Runamuck and a 1985 Pontiac Firebird side by side.) This is one of the best ones you’ve made, I think. And I cannot wait for Shatter. The Plymouth Roadrunner is my dream car and I can’t wait to see it be stylistically done in LEGO.
This is an amazing moc, probably one of my favorites you’ve built. All modes look good, the transformation is clever, and the color distribution is genius. Dropkick is one of my favorite designs and you did justice with this adaptation!!!
Aranabolis98 was able to make a triple changer of dropkick I believe but he is a literal genius so I can't expect anyone else to do the same lmao. Also there was a very clear hit to both vehicle modes so I do like this concept as it makes his character more interesting.

I got a challenge, though maybe it isn't really that challenging, and would just be something interesting to see: Make a transformer that would transform in an unconventional way (or I guess a unique way). Like how Optimus Prime transforms with the cab of the truck being his body and the back end of the truck forms the legs, whereas with Motormaster, the legs are the cab of the truck, and the upper body is the trailer. Maybe you could make a plane where the wings become the legs, or a car that has the right side of the car being the legs, and the left side being the upper body, making for some asymmetrical robot mode?
ah, a fellow dropkick duocon enjoyer! although i went a step further with my design and split him into two robots like POTP battleslash and roadtrap. so i have two robot horses, mach kick and dropshot, who turn into a pickup (like 07 dropkick) and a helicopter!
Great job! I was very surprised by the reveal of 2 alt modes that the thumbnail didn't include, and I was pleasantly surprised to hear of the Duocon styling, and was amazed by the robot mode. Genuinely a great job, can't wait to see Shatter and everything else you have to offer!
So you essentially turned Dropkick into Battletrap. I full-on thought it WAS Roadtrap and Battleslash when the video started. :P The robot mode looks super cool.

this looks like battletrap from power of the primes with the white-gray helicopter and the blue car AND the helicopter goes on top car on bottom. the two components are battleslash and roadtrap.
Just a suggestion if you do a soundwave: a giant boom box might look kind of silly but a couple of my sound waves have been cyberverse style truck with the cassette bots turning into giant boomboxes that can hang out on the back of the truck like sound gear, this can get you a pretty interesting transformation 2 turn the back of the truck into the front of the chest and usually gets the blocky design that classic soundwave is.
Nah. The real answer is a surveillance panel van, with the storage bay full of Honda Motocompos (look them up, they're *perfect* for what a modern cassette-bot alt mode would be. If you don't feel like looking them up, they're basically miniature scooters that fold into portable boxes. Real feats of engineering.)

Brilliant idea for making it a duocon and i might use this idea when ill build my own dropkick ive never thought of such an idea.
