I’m 78 years old and when I heard you say “ dad bandage “ I laughed out loud. How many of your viewers lncluding me have made “ dad bandages “ in their lives. My go to is duct tape, sticks real good !😅
I was changing the air hoses on another drivers truck and the hoses were all twisted up. When I pulled on one it hit me above my eye and I had a gusher. All I had was paper towels and electrical tape. I looked like a pirate.
I prefer electrical tape myself since it stretches but need to make sure you wrap up with a napkin or something or you'll tear the wound open again trying to scrub the black goop off your skin.
Man....This is why I love this channel. No shill BS, just hard earned money buying things.. I run a full time action sports photography business (rodeo and off road dirt bike racing) Square D photography is my name.. I don't ask for handouts. I save my cash to buy what I need. I could have $1000's in gear if I got on my knees and asked Nikon to sponsor me things.. I rather show my talent than have $1000's in gear to put a front on in front of people! Keep being you, shaun!!
Love the ebike, wish I could afford one. We need more Nate, he's a good shop helper. It is good to see all the kids in the shop with you having fun. Nothing like having good friends to rag on you when your Ford truck is down and out. 😉 I 😄at the dogs on the top of the truck, that was cute. Merry Christmas to all of your family.
Great to see you out riding , having the electric bike will help, am still riding my road bike , not needing a electric bike , however there are a lot of people who would have trouble pedaling who now use an electric bike are now enjoying being out on a bike again
Sean, I'm 57 and I haven't rode a bike for over 40 years now. Don't know if I could with the way my knees and hips hurt all the time. It's good you can still do stuff with your kids. Family is the most important thing. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your family.
We appreciate you and your channel! We enjoy your simple, impressive spirit. We also enjoyed riding along with and your bike. 😊 So glad you include your kids and your dad. Keep filming and we will keep watching! 89Built is favorite! Merry Christmas 🎄
I've watch a lot of TH-cam hard sell this bike. Hard sell it to much. I normally skip there video soon as they start the hard sell. But I did enjoy this video and honestly going to look into the price and options. thanks for another down to earth video greatly appreciated. For the entertainment.
As a 78 year old who started riding an E-bike 5 years ago (after 2 hip replacements) I'm sold on the idea. Having rode 13,000 km and over 90% of that in "ECO", the lowest level of assist, it's great exercise and I've only needed one "Dad Bandage". Get a proper cycling helmet!
Utah is definitely one of the most beautiful states in this country. Utah, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming are my wife and I go to states for vacation. We love to drive the backroads in our Jeep and ride our E bikes. We’ve found the best way to see the National Parks are off the beaten path.
or "Lady Bandage", Yep, I use what ever is around to wrap my finger.! Love your channel- 89 BUILT. Love your drone shots also, beautiful mountains. Merry Christmas to you and ALL the family.
Great content, don't listen to the haters, you have a great business going promote it. People will be interested, and some will buy from your promotions, love the new welder. Keep up the great job.
You gotta rotate the brake levers down to the same angle that your arms are at, so when you reach for the brakes your wrists aren't reaching up in the air and you can clearly see the gear indicators.
Hi guys I’ve been watching yous from the start love it I will keep on watching yous guys love it Ok then I’d like to take the opportunity to wish yous all a merry Christmas and all the best in the new year take care keep safe
2:52 as a man. Anything I get that has a instructions manual I read it. Ain't nothing worse than getting something completely together and you have one part left over. That one part is usually step 2 so you have to tear the whole thing apart. It dint make you less of a man to read instructions.
I have the same bike !! Love it !! Just a heads up ! They make a flat free liner/tube that goes in the tires . Definitely worth the money . They get flats easy . Love the content !! Happy Holidays from Scholzens !! ❤ That
Not sure how much help it’ll do with the “dad bod” but who else has a Ninja Turtle to help them with assembly?! With that beautiful scenery I’d be on a bike whenever possible! Happy travels and happy holidays to you and your family.
Gloves will help with cold hands and keep you from destroying your hands if you have a spill. A helmet would be a good idea as well. Got to protect the valuables!
Riding your new bike you may start a trend of riding and get slimmer at the same time. That is if you don't use the power assist much. Yeah the Ford is for sure staying. I know you just wanted an excuse to give the E-bike a test ride.
Ebike. What a kick in the a@& I’m 67 and got one a few years ago. Love it. FYI You don’t have to peddle at all if you don’t want to. Peddling engages the motor and you can add power with your legs. The throttle paddle is more of a variable speed start. The peddle goes from heavy resistance to full speed. Enjoy and get a helmet
Good day, I am not a fan of E-bike. In 1982, I was 20 and road a bicycle from Fort Collins Colorado to NYC. In the military, I road a bike all over Europe. No battery for this 62 year old man. I have riden a bike over millions of milesl without any artificial help. Still ride.
E bikes are fine but i dont like the run away feeling also i can pedal faster than 15mph so its heavy after the pedal assist cuts out and heavy when you run out of charge or it breaks and you cant ride it. Other than that at least it gets people back out. Fat tyres are ment for snow and sand btw although i doubt the bike is.... Lower tyre pressure per usual for off road.
Sean, congratulations receiving your electric bike for reaching 50,000 subscribers! If you continue and reach 100,000 subscribers, WE WILL SEND YOU A MASERATi!
Lithium batteries made in the last few years are much safer due to a chemistry change to LiFePO4. Himiway uses Samsung or LG cells (Korean) which have a little circuit board which cuts off the electrical connection in the case of overcharging or cell shorts. Best charging practice is to charge to full, then disconnect. Don't leave it on the charger for long periods of time.
You'd think that I'd 'Kissed the Blarney Stone' if I tried to get you to believe how many miles I'd traveled 'From A to B' mounted on a bicycle -- but I hope you DO believe, when I tell those fat tires look like they were Designed and Manufactured to deal with the kinds of roads that are "Cheek by Jowl with 89." (Ride Safe.)
That's a pretty cool and good looking bike! I don't think its cheating though if you use the GO button on a electric bike. I think that's just called using it. My big question is how did you get the drone footage while you were riding?
The last time I was on a bike it took me a couple of days to feel normal again. Think I’d use the lazy button on that bike all the time 😂 Happy Christmas
@kevbev1524 yeah the gearing on them was so low the top speed pedaling was about 4 mph . It was just a way to get around the law and not have to have insurance and license on them
We called it a mandaid paper towel and duct tape you couldn't walk off the job the other guys would rip on you all week they would bring in there kids band-aid put them on your tools 😂😂 it was good times . Well now you know what to get your parents Sean 😂
You might want to ride your bike on the opposite side of the hiways to be safer , to many people texting on cell phones and driving. Seems they spend alot of time on the shoulders lately. It would be safer to see them coming at you. Be safe🙏
@joed6722 you ride which ever way you want , I'm speaking from experience. I was run over by a driver from behind because she was texting on her cell phone instead of paying attention to the road .
Looks like fun but I have bought cars for cheaper :-) Don't want anyone to see you but you have 64k subscribers :-) good vid I may get one for camping.
Understand that they are costly. I know people that paid $3K TO $6K for just a pedal bike. And I have seen e bike for $15k it is really stupid the price on these bikes.

Gorilla tape and some kind of cloth for me, everything is better with Black Gorilla Tape. Lol 😂
I prefer electrical tape myself since it stretches but need to make sure you wrap up with a napkin or something or you'll tear the wound open again trying to scrub the black goop off your skin.

Cool bike! Tip, raise the seat so your knees are slightly bent at full down stoke.
You gotta rotate the brake levers down to the same angle that your arms are at, so when you reach for the brakes your wrists aren't reaching up in the air and you can clearly see the gear indicators.
E-Bikes are cool. I wish I had one.
You might have to put a cube feeder on that bike to save your reputation.
I'm a big believer in what I call .... mandade

Had a chainsaw kick back on me. Small gash on my thigh. Duct tape and paper towels did the trick. Held the rest of the day.
Awesome
Man bandages equals super glue and insulation tape😂 in kiwi land.
That is a cool looking bike. You gave it a good test by riding to work.
Nice bike, awesome country.......Have a Merry Christmas!!
on the overhead shot at 11:15 you look like Auntie Em, from the Wizard Of Oz.

Merry Christmas Shane, Sean and the rest of the family

You missed a perfectly good opportunity on that trailer ramp😂

there's a huge community for modifying E-bikes. lots of ways to turn that 25mph to 60.

I have a bike just like this one! I'm 77 years old and I know without a doubt, that I couldn't be out enjoying the fresh air without peddle assist 😊
Looks like you have a lot of expert help.
At least you have a small shoulder on your roads, in my county the white fog line IS the shoulder.
Sean, congratulations receiving your electric bike for reaching 50,000 subscribers! If you continue and reach 100,000 subscribers, WE WILL SEND YOU A MASERATi!

Thank you for sharing 👌 😊

@frankhage1734 my opinion! Try living in Arizona
Put a dropper seat post on that. Easier on your hips and knees
Awesome 😎. I don’t care about the ev stuff but it makes for a great video.and it’s still different. Love the videos .keep them coming.❤
Wasn't the whole purpose of an E-bike, isn't to pedal as much as you were doing, I was beginning to wonder if it had a charge on the batteries. 🙂

Get some bark busters for hand guards they will block the wind on you hands

Maybe "🎶🎵Born to be Mild🎵🎶" is a bit more contemporary 🤣🗿👽🗿
I don't believe I could do that in the cold. It's been too many years since I've rode a bike.
Marry Christmas to you an your🎅🤶🧑🎄

I've seen them at the coop in corrine at 1700.00 a pop I'm like😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Getting out with the kids riding bikes , I would get the helper e-bike also. Age does that to you .
I rode a moped when I was a kid . It got me around and was a lot better than walking or pedaling. The ped of moped was useless.

Hey Kevin...
It's added weight,
But if it's not peddling?
It's on the operation.

What about the old 73 square body? You know it will start up and run. We need a vidio about that truck.
Yes I’ve got some plans with that truck. It will be showing up soon enough getting some well overdue maintenance.

No Nonsense Know How ( NNKH)
he does alot of different stuff like this,
He's In NJ 😊
Happy Holidays everybody
Great thanks from the uk 👍👍👍
No problem 👍
Does the bike charge the battery when you're coasting downhill?
Keep riding that bike and the dd bod will go away.
Pretty doggone good video, Sean! Was that a 26 inch bike? 🤔
I think so!
Things a ripper
Just be careful about where you charge and store that bike. The batteries have been known to catch fire and those lithium batteries burn hot.
I have seen that I do hate that about them.
@@89Built Change is (almost) as reliable as Gravity. Solid State (and Semi-Solid State) batteries should cut down on the conflagrations.

As someone who ride 5k miles each year always ride with traffic no against
@joed6722 you ride which ever way you want , I'm speaking from experience. I was run over by a driver from behind because she was texting on her cell phone instead of paying attention to the road .
@joed6722 also I only ride on the opposite side when on the hiways.
If you do get hit riding into traffic the impact would be doubled
You need rearview mirrors. Helmet and gloves.
Those all would be nice 👏
In case you didn't know your supposed to ride against traffic
No, you won’t. But, you “will” for some sponsors. Same. 😂
