I love my typhoon h there is no competition for the price 💯. very reliable as long as you calibrate the compass.. it looks like a military grade drone too.. always impresses the customer on a job 😅
@lukejordan8929 yes definitely the only minus is the category of drone.. because it weights more than 250g your limited were you can fly.. a drone under 250g the drone rules are not as strict.. you have more freedom..
Cracking pictures and video, i had a mate a while while back who let me have a go of his, but when it came to buying, i actually bought a Mavic Pro which I have now had for 3 year. It was he sheer size that put me off, although i have poked at some used ones in the past, now due to COVID I’m out of cash for any more drones. Thanks for taking the time to make this.
I love the Typhoon H because it is unique. But honestly, it doesn't seem all that practical these days. It takes several minutes to unpack, set up, and get it ready to launch. It is big and a little on the loud side, and its appearance seems to alarm some people. I don't know what kind of flying you do, but just guessing I would say that you're probably better off with the Mavic. On some locations where I film, I just want to get in and out of there without turning it into a big production. And the camera, while decent and adequate, is just not professional grade. It is fun to fly, but when it comes to going out and hammering nails all day, I'll take one of the Mavics. Thank you for watching, Alan, and feel free to check back once in a while. Cheers!
That's a real good question. I've never had to do this because I've never had any trouble with the firmware installed in the controller. I looked on Yuneec's website and I don't see any links or information on updating or reinitializing firmware on the ST16. They don't manufacture the Typhoon H anymore, but they are selling factory refurbished ones currently so it seems like they would be providing software support somewhere. I would try contacting Customer Service about it and see what they say. There is also a platform called YuneecPilots which has a Typhoon H forum where you can find answers to general questions.
I'm sorry, the YT videos usually keep track of that in the "show more" part of the description but it's not there for some reason. This one is from 9 or 10 months ago and I honestly can't remember the name of the song in the intro. Sorry about that.
The only place that I have been able to find filters for the H3 with Leica camera is directly from Yuneec's website. They have a 3-pack (ND8, ND16, ND32) for around $70.
You can find new Typhoon H's on Ebay for around $800. There is also a company called Genuine Authentic Deals which lists on Ebay that sells factory refurbished Typhoons with a 90-day warranty for $650.
Such an amazing and excellent drone shot. Absolutely fantastic and stunning scenery. I love it. Thank you for showing us the pleasant nature. Greetings and have a beautiful day.
You can contact me by e-mail at engineer.hilton5455@gmail.com if you'd like. I have been flying these long enough now that I've become pretty familiar with their various little quirks, and I've had to rebuild one a couple of times to repair crash damage so depending on what's going on with yours I may be able to help. Just write me anytime and we'll see what we can do.
It is true that the way this drone is designed with a large heavy camera hanging below the airframe lowers its center of gravity and is going to cause the sort of thing you're talking about. I guess I don't notice it much just flying a straight steady line but if this is happening to you with small stick inputs, I don't know, I wonder if the gimbal is having a problem. Have you tried recalibrating it?

It's been so long ago since I made this video, I don't remember now if the H Plus was available at that time. It's a little larger overall than the original H480, has a much better camera, better obstacle avoidance, and I think a few intelligent flight modes that the original Typhoon did not have. Just about everyone I know that flies professionally has gone full DJI now, but at the time the Typhoon H and H Plus were both very interesting and unique drones. Thanks for watching.
@dronecounty6516 I have 2 H plus those small DJI drones lot of them need a phone to fly, the H and the H plus has it all in one controller, it can take the wind, the small DJI drones are so small 20 mph wind will blow it away, if you going to do a job flying and you take out one of the DJI mini drones out, they going to laugh and say what the hell are you going to do with that TOY.
@@KTHKUHNKK Yeah where is Yuneec - all their drones, support and spare parts suddenly disappeared into thin air (in the US) probably. You realize Yuneec, like DJI is a chinese company ? If one branch is downed by corona in the states, it doesn't mean the company don't exist no more. Please don't buy into rumors put out by the infamous dji marketing jerks. Others here tried to say the app had disappeared - but it's all bs - the us webpage is still up, with all the download links and updates as before. I realize there could be guarantee problems, that should be solved by the shop you bought it - it's good you hardly ever need it - and they perhaps have to send it further away to have it fixed by Yuneec. Fortunately those of us that has had an H since it came out, and are way past guarantee anyway - can get all the spare parts we need, and it's actually a very nice craft to work on, where everything is not glued down like in a DJI (I like the DJI very precise german style of assembly, though, it's very tuff until it breaks and you have to replace something). But back to Yuneec (north america) it's not like the company is gone from the surface of the earth. Chill out.
I would not recommend anyone buy a yuneec drone as they will not honor their warranty and you will be stuck with nothing that's does not work. I would visit the BBB websites and other online forums prior to buying this drone at all. Yuneec USA filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy in April 2020, thus, honors zero warranty. In fact, to call their warranty number or reach out to them on Facebook you will get zero reply. I would not buy this drone. Not recommended.

Is it just me or does the drone fly very wobbly? Like when you slightly move forward, it constantly wiggles

If you need more range you can change the antennas, that is also an option with this drone.
