Drone County is a channel dedicated to producing aerial footage music videos in the hope of furthering a positive public perception of drones and their pilots. Instructional videos promoting the safe operation of UAVs, flying in compliance with FAA regulations, as well as drone test reviews (Sorry, no range tests) and equipment tips, this channel is geared toward supporting new pilots just coming into drone flying for the first time. My friend, Brandon Gunn passed away from complications due to cancer on November 9, 2024. He was 47. He is survived by his wife and children. Brandon was a wonderful father, a great friend, and the bravest man I've ever known.

This drone has aged so well. It kicks ass in 2024! The camera quality is better than some of the modern drones I've seen, priced $500 or more. And I love the ST10+ controller.
I still break this out once in a while. Even though I've been flying DJI drones for a long time now, I still have a special attachment to the Q500. This was the first real drone that used back when I first began flying. One of the things that I use this drone for is to get very low over the water. It doesn't have any downward obstacle avoidance so I can get it down to within a couple of feet of the water's surface. You can't do that with a DJI drone.
