Thank you for showing us a more affordable property! This one has so much potential. I would also like to see affordable properties in historic centers of beautiful, medieval towns. Thank you for creating this channel so that so many of us can continue dreaming about the possibilities of one day moving to Italia. ❤
Absolutely Tina. Next weekend. ❤️❤️❤️
As a serial renovator I love the that electric’s been done and that supports have been addressed. The views are stellar - I wish it was the right time for us!
I could move in tomorrow and start the kitchen ....
The barn floor is scary .....
The tiles in the bathroom will stay , they are to cute ....
The floor tiles will look great with a little work ...
And it's a perfect place to keep goats and chickens , a part of the cantina can be used for that .
The view with the Oak trees is stunning , even in winter .
And the price , indeed , is a steal !
Yes 🙌 I agree! Thank you 🙏🤗❤️ Nick.
Sometimes, Nick, I think that these fixer uppers are much more interesting than the "ready to serve" models, because they allow for the imagination to run wild! I can see a lot of things happening with this property. I think the ground floor would make an amazing master suite, and the tower would be an incredible office space (once you said spiral staircase, I imagined bookshelves lining the walls all the way up the tower!). The kitchen doesn't need much help at all with that fireplace , but knocking out that front wall and adding a balcony for al fresco would be incredible.. The barn could have a pool table upstairs, and a pool room downstairs, and with all that land and those views, the possibilities are endless! Yes, you could move in for 25 grand, but for me, this place would be so much more..
Thanks for another dream, Nick!
Neil
There's usually no room for knocking down outer walls and adding balconies on old buildings in these areas, the rools are comparatively strict as far as exteriors go (hence the comment about potential permit for a pool). But I do agree with you, this house could be an amazing home with a little help from an architect and dependable builders.
@@gnarbeljo8980 I thought the possibility might be there as the building isn't THAT old (the cornerstone says 1912).
@@hellosheila you may be right, if submitting plans working with a regional architect. In italy the architects know their regional restrictions and council contacts. It makes a huge difference to partner with local companies. But generally speaking, many regions are very restrictive when it comes to any exterior changes. Even putting in a window in an older facade needs planning permission (and each such application is costly).
@@gnarbeljo8980good to know, thanks!
Thanks Neil. Really appreciate your comment. ❤️🙏🤗
That fireplace in the kitchen is scrumptious!
Nick Thank you for taking us on this wonderful tour of this property. Has a great potential to be quite beautiful. I love to see and hear all the history and the mangers where the animals lived is so incredible under the house. I can't wait for Saturdays. We continue to watch all your properties. Italy is so beautiful.
So kind Donna. ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you. 🙏
Watch your channel as often as possible so I can dream.
This property IS a dream. I will watch this again. And maybe again and again to allow my creative juices to freely flow. Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to experience this magical piece of land in the Umbrian countryside.
Looking forward to seeing more of the renovations you’ve made to your gorgeous home.
Thank you. 😊🤗❤️🙏
We love you, too, Nick and get so much pleasure from your videos each week that we have followed almost from the beginning! We were surprised at how nice the inside already is and the size of it all and price. As you said, great location, and tons of potential-thank you❣️
Wow 😮 thank you so much! It means a lot and I appreciate your support! ❤️🤗🤗🤗🙏 N
I'm so glad you appear to be back in the pink! Wow, this property offers so much potential. I love the light and the notion of one level living. Nick, I am so afraid one of these days "something" is going to surprise us all when you open those doors that haven't seen use in some time. Thanks for taking us on this journey. I truly look forward to my Saturdays in Italy.
So enjoy receiving your messages. Thank you. ❤️❤️❤️
Properties like this get the juices flowing. Being a creative person with a lot of building experience and engineering experience it really tickles the imagination. But then I open my wallet and look in and it yells out " There's not enough to do it justice! " lol Love it though. Price is nice and would love to see more like it. Especially in the countryside. You've knocked another one out of the park, Nick. Bravo!
Thanks Scott ❤️🙏
I love this type of showing!!! I love the old properties. Even the ones that have been restored. Thanks so much for showing this property
Such an amazing property with so much potential! At the asking price it probably will go fast. I imagine the sunset’s are amazing too. Thank you so much for taking us along and for always being so upbeat, Nick! 😊
Pleasure. 😊🤗❤️🙏
Excellent property with great potential 👍
Such a brilliant opportunity to create a superb home. Yes, we’d love to see some videos on your own renovation progress.
Thank you 🙏🤗🤗🤗🤗❤️ Nick.
Always great to tour the architecture with you, great project& home for someone.
I would absolutely die to live in this house!!
In that case you are not able to enjoy it 😢
lol Nick! You are the first real estate agent ever to utter the word “snakes!“ You made me laugh over my coffee here in New England… You are great and your camera actually adjusts in dark areas fairly well if you just give it a moment. Always enjoyable content. Thank you!
Very kind. ❤️🙏🤗
It was such a cool thing to hear you say my name on this video! My son, Evan, and I do love watching your videos and dreaming of owning a place in Italy. I agree with some of your other watchers who asked you to show something that the average person can afford! Finally! I'm not sure if we're brave enough for this one though. We'll keep watching!
Pleasure. Please say hi to Evan and tell him I loved his video. 🙏🤗❤️
It’s magnificent! You selected such a beautiful time of day. It really wouldn’t need much to make it home.
Beautiful house with great potential. You could dig the ground floors deeper in the "cantinas" to get a higher ceiling, these old houses often have a sunken foundation. We did this with ours.
Hello from Louisiana! Would love a move to Italy 🇮🇹.
Hi back. ❤️🤗🙏
What’s stop you ???
Amazing property with _GREAT_ potential Nick! 😊👍👍
Absolutely! I'd love to see your own restoration progress 😊👍
Coming soon. 🙏 Thank you. N.
Good morning..lovely property today…your videos are wonderful…I love all the nooks and crannies of this house…Janet from Connecticut USA loves your program…I have beeen yo Italy when I could travel I have end stage COPD now and can no longer fly…or travel ,so you are good for me every week..stay well and see you next week ❤
So sorry to hear this Janet! Sending big hugs and prayers. Thank you for watching. 🙏❤️🤗N
I fell over at the price 😊
Another great video!
One suggestion (or request); would you tour one of the renovation projects with a builder/contractor? It would be nice to see what would go into such a project and the possibilities.
Again, thank you so much for these awesome videos. It's a nice part of my Saturday here in the USA.
Thank you so much for watching. That’s a very good idea. Thank you. 🤗🙏❤️🙏🤗 Nick.
I fell over too! This looks more like a 50-70k property.
Nick, I have no doubt that this wonderful home, priced so reasonably, will find a new owner in no time! It's absolutely charming with very little to do, to make it perfectly liveable. We just love it and could definitely see ourselves there but are like you...too many projects already! Thank you so much for sharing 🤗🥰
Pleasure. 🙏❤️🤗
Propriedade maravilhosa, quantas vistas inacreditáveis. Obrigrado Nick por esse tour.❤
Pleasure. 🤗❤️🙏
I love it! The potential in this property is exciting. Not too much land for those who want to just relax and enjoy their Italian dream but enough to garden and have a pool. I can see the room off the little patio as a wine room already and the patio dressed up for lounging or Al fresco dinners. Beautiful was the perfect word for this tour.
Thank you so much for watching! 😀🙏🤗🤗🤗
I would love to own a property like this where you can enjoy the authentic Italian vibe. Excellent
Great property at a good price. Thanks for featuring it Nick!
Pleasure Anna. 🤗🙏❤️
Diamond in the rough is what this is!! Loved it, it looked structurally sound so no worries there. Could make a great project! Cheers Kirk
Back of the house could be a pool room and a lovely pool out there.
Really do need to see affordable properties as I am also in Nova Scotia and looking to get away over the winter months in a simple 1 or 2 bedroom home easy to maintain, thanks Nick!
Pleasure. 🤗❤️🙏
Great idea to show more affordable homes. We have personally been-there-done-that and only need a home, not a showpiece. Bravo!
I can see what potential this property has Nick!
For a really rural location in complete peace and quiet, this place could be amazing. It would be costly to get the while house fully renovated, but that's really where the potential is, unless someone's looking for a cheap solution for a small retirement farm to fix up and enjoy with a handfull of animals, and want to focus on the land, the simple lifestyle, which could be lovely too.
For a full reno I see multiple possibilities here. The entire downstairs for a remote business, plenty of storage spaces, office, workshop space. Or a great artists residence with huge studio. A family home with more bedrooms could be configured, and the small building turned into a studio for guests or work, or stable for a couple of horses or some sheep to graze the land and a garage.
The open landscape, views and absence of visible neighbors is amazing only a halfhours drive to Cortona!
VERY cool project, I'd love to see in a couple years how it's been transformed!
It's really fun to see these types of properties that are alot more affordable, have interesting potential , yet can be made livable without massive contracting and waiting for years.
The luxury houses you show are great to see too, but this stuff is every bit as inspiring.
I do love your rummages in old historic homes full of stuff though, nobody shows those places where time just stopped 100 years ago except you!
This is a marvelous project, I winder who's the lucky people to embark on this journey?
Thanks Nick! ❤
I’ll keep you posted. Maybe the buyer would be happy for me to film the restoration. Always appreciate your comments. 🤗❤️🙏
Wow!!! This is a great one. Well done Nick
Thank you. 🙏
The best thing I’ve learned from Italy is, the bidet.✊❤️
@@GA-tn3nv that might be the case. But, I learned about it from an Italian. There are more bidets in Italy. 😉👍
I’ve also, been showering by an Italian couple. Now, I’m a changed man…😉😂❤️
Hi Nick- First time commenting, my wife Carol, myself and our dog Lucca (yes, our favorite town), settle in
each Saturday with lunch and a glass of Primitivo to watch your explorations. Italy is our default country
to visit overthe past 24 years. The fantasy of owning a place there has morfed into a rental experience so
as to explore the entirety of the country. We generally find a country house and invite a group of friends
to share the time. We will be in Umbria this May for 3 weeks near Monticastelli with family and friends.
Really enjoy your presentations and Lucca has been missing Macki these past few weeks. Carry on.
Cheers
Colin,Carole and Lucca
Please come over and I will buy you a coffee. You will be just down the road. Appreciate your comment. 🙏❤️ N.
@@italianproperty Thanks for the reply and offer of coffee. Do you mean at the office in Nicconi ?
I am commenting from Nova Scotia, Canada. Looking forward to today,s ramble and our trip in May.
Cheers - Colin
So much potential Nick and really quite a bargain. Thanks for showcasing a more affordable option...
Yes it is. 🙏
It is a diamond on the rough. You always know a good time to show us property with the sunlight filtering through. A lot of the heavy work has been done on this property. Needs polishing like the floors, but I can see the potential. At that price, just living a small beautiful life would be easy or a full on big restoration on the secondary building and a complete small farm. What an ideal life for a small family, a place to raise children. I love the enthusiasm you bring, it makes me laugh a bit about “patina” when the wood is falling to pieces outside. I miss seeing your beautiful dog these last episodes but the brambles would have made a big mess in his hair for sure. Thank you for showing another dream property. I think this one will sell quickly and I know the. Ew owners will be thrilled.
Really enjoyed reading your message. I really agree. What fun one could have restoring this property slowly and at the end of each day sitting outside with a glass of wine watching the sunset. Magical! 😊🤗❤️🙏
You have dipped into the great location library again. Really could be a cute little farm. Extreme potential without a doubt. Should I say again what a great location it is? Done. Thank you for another gem Nick. Keep up the good work. I am looking forward to your own property progress report.
Thanks Brian. 🙏😊
I'm always afraid the owners will see everyone say how inexpensive it is and raise the price 😅 I would say put 100K into it and have a forever home ❤
I completely agree 🙏
I’m only 4:14 in and I’ve already planned the roof on the barn, pulling up and restoring those terracotta tiles ❤
Ciao Nick, I really love this house, the possibilities are endless, I already have it mapped out in my mind. Even the cantina spaces. The price is very reasonable. Thanks for showing this listing. Looking forward to seeing your progress on your home. Love from N.Y.
Thanks Joni. ❤️
That was fun! So much potential! Absolutely beautiful location! I've also watched your channel from the beginning and purchased a "camera will adjust" tshirt when they first came out ❤. My husband is now watching your channel with me, I've got him hooked! Hugs from sunny Arizona
That’s so kind. ❤️❤️❤️ Please send pictures. Best wishes to you and husband. 🤗🙏 Nick.
I love this place, so many possibilities.
Thanks Nick for all your great videos. We’re really looking forward to seeing the videos of your own house restoration. Cheers, Ernesto, Ivy and Leonardo
Coming soon. 🙏❤️
Hello Nick, what a beautiful property you showed us again ! I realise that there is work to be done, but I confess I have soft spot also for that simple, rural look (incl. those troughs ;-)) , even a bit wild and neglected ........ But the views : mama mia ! And since you know I am a tree-lover, I also liked those oaktrees a lot; the way that they branched: so wonderful !! Many greetings, amico ! GRAZIE per condividere tutto !!
Marcello, Thank you so much for watching and your kind comment. 🤗🤗🤗🤗 Nick.
You're welcome, amico ! I also liked the newest reportage of that historical palazzo in Città di Castello (Umbria) today ! Buon Weekend !@@italianproperty
I loved this place, great place to start a beautiful house.
Yes, it’s a great price. 🤗❤️🙏
Wow Nick,Great potential, I love it !! I'm imagining all the animals I would have, happy, happy animals and a wonderful garden,I especially love the huge fireplace in the kitchen ❤thanks soo much for sharing, see ya next time 😊
Pleasure. 🤗🙏❤️
Fantastic Nick, more like this, please.
Wonderful property with a great price! It will sell fast!
Thanks for showing an affordable property Nick! It's a beauty alright.
A bit of sweat equity and it could be a stunning property, especially for a gardener. The smaller rooms underneath would make a nice root cellar and garden tool storage. Lots of nice little nooks and crannies and interesting features to be included in the overall architectural design. Such little bits of interest. Glad the snakes are hibernating, that could have been awful. This will make a lovely home for someone.
🤗❤️🙏
I think the cantinas could make an excellent little wood shop, storage for the tools and equipment needed for the lawn and building maintenance.
Bravo Nick 👏
Truly inspiring 👍
You could put laundry in the larder, too. What a great storage space. I would love it if I had a partner. It's a little too isolated for me by myself, but I do love it & can imagine making it my own!!!! ❤ You could put an e-bike in that garage!! Or regular bike.
🤗🙏❤️
Smart move not walking around in there but you can see the amazing potential I would turn the barn into a guest house and this property is a perfect opportunity to restore and live in home with amazing views
🤗🙏❤️
No caravan tour?? Macchi will be disappointed! Beautiful property. Have a wonderful day
🤣 You’re right. 🙏😊
So much potential. I'd go for the all out renno and splurge on the best of everything. Location is fab, so quiet. Even the garden/land is a blank canvas that I'd fill with butterfly loving plants. Who needs olive trees when you have two (more?) beautiful oak trees. Thanks Nick! Ciao!
I agree. 😊🤗🙏❤️
Love these videos Nick and your enthusiasm. If I ever buy in Italy, I am coming straight to you!
Thank you. ❤️🙏
Another awesome video, Nick. We love this property and can see so much potential. Maybe using the Tobacco Tower as the stairwell between the two levels of the house. I did guess that the garage could accommodate a Fiat 500. A sensational find and well below our estimate of €400k. Cheers 🍺🤓
Thanks Mark. Best wishes to you and yours. Like your idea. 🙏
You're awesome, Nick! Came close to buying something last year, but Victoria informed us that it was surprisingly already under contract. Glad it didn't work out in the end because after visiting with my 6 year old last summer, I realized that I need something that's in more of a city center apt or townhouse that we could walk out to restaurants easily, etc. Esp when I come without my husband, which isn't often but you never know what the future holds. If one of us goes out first and then the other follows, etc. You get the point :)
This house is honestly a great opportunity for someone that has a car or rents one once they arrive in Italy, but I think for the average viewer some of us 'need' something a bit more easy on us regarding travel and moving around once we arrive. You've been showing us a few nice properties in city centers but in towns that are rather sleepy - sorry... please don't get upset for me saying that. Could you please show us more affordable 2-3 bedroom apartments that are in good condition that are in well connected city centers, pleaseeee!? Not everyone on here is retired and wanting to just settle in Italy.. i mean eventually my husband and I would like having that option, but for now we need something that's a bit more realistic and not difficult to get to or move around in. And if anyone could find that, it would be YOU!! Lol
Thank you for always being so lovely! What a wonderful disposition you have, Nick.
Thanks so much Carol. Hope to meet you soon. 🙏❤️🤗
No... thank you, Nick!! @@italianproperty
its a nice project for someone thats younger then me.. its a little over priced, should be closer to around 150 maybe 200 and I would love to hear the real reason they are selling. if someones got and extra 150k laying around they can spend it on this project and stay busy for the next year.. to much work at any price unless your living there full time. don't make the mistake the last owner did.
Appreciate your comment. I think it’s a bargain and I spend every day seeing houses. Find another one in that position. Have a great week. Best wishes, Nick. 🙏
OH NICK as soon as I saw the jeans I knew you were going to be traipsing thru the brambles! Thank God no shorts today!
It is really a beautiful place and could be special. You are right. A bit of $$ and it would be a nice place. And lots of room to improve the other buildings too. I got itchy just to get there and mow the yard down. Clean up and some new stucco walls would really help.
Is there a small village nearby just to get groceries, bank etc?
Thanks so much for a lower priced property. Xo
Pleasure. ❤️❤️❤️🤗🙏
The property is amazing and even more amazing is the presenter of the property.
🥰🙏❤️
So much potential. The position seems really lovely.
Thanks Nick 😊 ! This one is great deal ❤ beautiful views and land
Yes it is. ❤️🙏🤗
Well, what a property. Stunning. Of course it desrve a good rstoration, because iis a beautiful property. The price, is a bargain, but you need more money for it.. You are so entusiastic, as allways. I enjoy to mutch this tour. Cogratulatuions is a gorgeous house.Thank you Nick
Pleasure Xavier. 🤗❤️🙏
Hey Nick... Can we get an update on the progress at your home?
Yes. Coming soon. ❤️❤️❤️
Amazing property...what a find
😊 Thank you.
Wow!!!! amazing potential!, I can see a little Hotel/B&B business.
A beautiful property with stunning views. The right persons could easily finish the main house (2nd floor). There is so much potential for the ground floor. Why not making this into a little farm again, with animals, hens etc. There is also a potential for renovating and rent out some of the many rooms, also the guest house. Bed and breakfast or agritourism. The price is really good. ❤
Love it. In Czechia you would pay 3x more for such a location + land.
Thank you for watching 🤗🙏
Absolutly gorgeous!!
Yes 🙌 thank you for watching! 😀🙏🤗 Nick.
Great job bud, best on TH-cam 👍
Thanks Gary. Have a great week. 🙏😊
I cannot believe you’ve made a video of this. You should have bought this straight away and never said a word to anyone. You can remodel it at leisure, it’s waited 20 years already so it won’t mind a bit longer. It appears to be a pleasant area. It’s just the right size for most. I think it’s a complete gem and you should scoop it up. 😊 If this stays on the market for more than a week at this price, I’ll be shocked.
Edit: Ok at the very end you’ve said why you didn’t buy it. I think you should reconsider. You can always work on it (or not) and resell it later. Parents might want to retire there. A child might get married and want to start a family there. ;)
You are absolutely right, but I have too much on my plate right now. This is a deal. Appreciate your comment. 🤗❤️🙏😊
Amazing as always Nick.
As a matter of interest how difficult is it to make the windows larger or fit a window in a wall that doesn’t have a window? Is permission required and to do so and if so is it difficult?
What a true gem 😍
Hello Nick. Just seen this fabulous property which looks like it needs loads of TLC + €€€ but when you get inside, what a surprise!! It’s nearly habitable. You say €25k to get it up and running .. If the owner would take a further reduction, I’m in!! 😉😉
Probably they will. My instructions are to sell it. If you need further information please just email me. 🙏🤗😊
Nick, what fabulous potential! I would love to see a video in which you explain how to assemble a team for restoration: architect, geometra, builder, and skilled artisans. Many would undertake this job but are put off on where to begin, post sale. I provided these introductions when I was in the real estate profession in the USA. It would be invaluable given your skills. Cheers!
Very good idea Gileon. Thank you. 🙏🤗❤️
A true diamond in the rough with UNLIMITED potential.
A great cozy treasure for someone.

How is the renovation of your own property coming along now?
It’s on track. Thanks for asking. 🙏❤️🤗
Love!
do you offer suggestions on who to work with in certain areas, in terms of contractors or upkeep specialist? If so, that makes the dream more approachable! Thank you, Nick! Hugs and love from SEATTLE!
Yes, in my area I can indeed! Thank you for watching! 🤗🤗🤗
Fantastic
My house in Umbria…
Love this one.
AUsome! Great property. Love it, but way too much for me a 70 yr old. Something around the $30-$50 livable apt/house close to markets, etc. Thanks!🥰💥❤️💫
Okay. 🙏
Nick, are those pink buds on the trees in your intro?
I’m not sure Jocelyn. I’m going back today to take photos, so will have a look. 😊🙏
The storage room that had the second folded mattress looked like it had a large hole in the floor - is that correct and if so what was it?
No hole, it was a stone floor. 🙏
Hi Nick, I was just wondering why many Italian houses have barred windows.
Is there any issue with theft?
Not that I know of. It’s just the way they were built. Windows not needed on the ground floors as everyone lived on the first floor. 🙏
Thank you and I have a curiosity question
How easy and quick does the city approve home extensions and upgrades in Italy in this region I guess you may have an idea?
2.2 acres beautiful vista and olives trees incredible
It all depends on the planning department of each region. I would give yourself 90 days, however, some works can start immediately. Best wishes, Nick.
Thank you kindly
…and we love you too ! 🤗
