IMO he was the only one that not only respected Marty's solos by playing them note for note, but was the closest axeman to actually play the solos exactly how Friedman did. Broderick is an absolute guitar god.

I’m pretty sure he was playing in Jag Panzer at the time (his original band) and eventually to see him join Megadeth was a huge trip, I was really proud for the guy.

Developing your own sound takes balls - mostly it's a bi-polar relationship with the audience they either give 10's or 1's - they either really like it or really really hate it man, hehe. I wish more people would set their own sound but if sounding like their favorite band is cool to them then why not I guess. There is room for both but personally myself I have to listen to a lot of diversity in music, lol.

Best concert of my life was Megadeth at Jannus Live in St. Pete, FL. I was front row in front of Chris the whole time and he was unbelievable. My friends eardrums bled for weeks after, literally, and that’s something you never forget!!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻

I learned about Chris, when he was a touring member of Nevermore, but I fell in love with his playing, when I heard his playing on Jag Panzer albums.

That '08 Helsinki show with Megadeth was the first metal gig I attended. I was absolutely floored by his playing.

Loved this! A few years ago Act of Defiance came through my town and my band was lucky enough to open the show. It was such a phenomenal experience and Chris was the absolute nicest guy (they all were really). Will never forget getting to hangout with him. I even got to play through his rig.

I’m a huge fan of all that you do Ola and this has been my favorite interview so far. Chris is such an inspiration and one of the leaders in pushing the boundaries of metal and guitar in general. I finally got around to listening to your solo projects too and all I can say is you did an amazing job!!! Both of you are very wise and humble musicians that I have a ton respect for!!! Great video!!!
