Battletech Lore - Medium Aerospace Fighters

I would love to see an mmo battletech universe including combined arms. A nasty mech fight could use an ace in the hole like a hidden strike squadron.

They need make a mechwarrior/battletech game where you pilot aerospace fighters. Mechs often get the attention but i dont think aerospace fighters get the recognition they deserve.

What I would like to see it as a part of the fighter series, is conventional Fighters. I always found those fascinating for some reason.

Ooh I liked these! They were visually more interesting than most of the other designs I’ve perused on sarna.net. I’d like to see some of the artists that have updated the battlemechs take some of these and update them. There’s some really great ideas in there that are kind of crusted over by that weird, angular design aesthetic of early FASA work.
I vote C. That way we have a video for each class. You can always go back and do more.

I love aerotech more than battletech. I play a lot with the old rules of aerotech, mostly steiner, vs kurita or Marik. I steiner figthers are not so good. Lucifer (medium fighter) has more armor than chippewa (heavy) and chippewa has severe heat problems. On the other side marik and kurita heavy fighers (Riever and Slayer) are superb. Specially the Riever uneashing its salvo of many many SRMs that cause a large quantity of critical results.
I would like a video about house related fighers for example
Steiner: Seydlitz, Lucifer, Stingray-S, Chippewa
Kurita: Sholagar, Shilone; Lucifer II, Slayer
Marik: Cheetah, Stingray, Sandhawk (corsair variant) Riever
Davion: Sparrowhawk, Corsair, Stuka
Liao: Trush, Transit, Transgressor
Some old fighters that all houses use: Sabre, Lightning (which is almost identical to Transit), Eagle (almost identical to Transgressor), and Thunderbird (old but nasty, its an atlas on wings)

That is a good idea. Never thought about House specific units. If I can I'll implement it in the future, at least with the fighters.
