Amazing that everyone is okay with being told where you can and can't travel to in the USA. Police should warn people about hazards but not control what people can/can't do. Sad that you had to get permission to pass through.
It’s for people’s safety,I lived in wrightwood California where it was 7,000ft above sea level, and also in the Rockies of Colorado,in areas like that it is easy to get stuck as you can see. It isn’t fair to all the people that live in these communities for snow players to come up to these areas with their front wheel drive cars and get stuck or start sliding down hill causing multi car crashes blocking the road for locals and backing traffic up when it already takes hours to get home because all the valley people in Cali want to come play in the snow, also typically in these communities there are only less then a handful of ways up n down,it sucks but makes complete sense expecially with the idiots on the road that lack good judgment.

You should get some top line winter tires such as Blizzaks or Michelin X-Ice or Hakkapeliita 9's on the truck and be absolute king in winter conditions.
😂😂 No winter driving skills what so ever
I live in AK and we drive a 2000 GMC and we take it every and when snow come its always good to have a tow strap and keep it in 4WD untill the snow is gone though we dont get as much snow as Colorado cause it gets colder here
I find it funny how everyone is like "wow these trucks are so crazy" when in east texas were i live atleast 80% of everyones trucks look just like these guys' trucks.
That sema is a bad boy working on one 🦾
That looked like a lot of freezing fun !Great video! Any of your friends have the 6.2 Silverado? Maybe you can do a comparison of that to the 5.3 and diesel . I'm jealous of the sound of the 5.3 exhaust with just changing the muffler. I added a muffler to my 6.2 and sounds like I didn't even change it from stock.
Stop putting sema truck just put my pavement princess 👑
Emb 130 thought it was the same thing? 🤷🏽♂️
Testing my 4x4 after working on my front end where i had my hubs right off. I got my dually stuck going forward in about 6 inches of snow so i just backed out no problem. Oh i have nearly dead road tires. Before next winter i want new cooper discover at3. They are good all purpose tires on and off road and pulling my 13k trl
Amazing that everyone is okay with being told where you can and can't travel to in the USA. Police should warn people about hazards but not control what people can/can't do. Sad that you had to get permission to pass through.
x.adam1 . . . That’s Comi-fornia for ya
its the same way in Colorado. They close roads
It’s for people’s safety,I lived in wrightwood California where it was 7,000ft above sea level, and also in the Rockies of Colorado,in areas like that it is easy to get stuck as you can see. It isn’t fair to all the people that live in these communities for snow players to come up to these areas with their front wheel drive cars and get stuck or start sliding down hill causing multi car crashes blocking the road for locals and backing traffic up when it already takes hours to get home because all the valley people in Cali want to come play in the snow, also typically in these communities there are only less then a handful of ways up n down,it sucks but makes complete sense expecially with the idiots on the road that lack good judgment.
x.adam1 . . . U moron it's only for the safety of the people!!!we have remote places in Maine where u don't need "permission" but u do need to check in with maine wardens traveling into the north Maine woods!and once again it is for your safety,if u don't come back out they have it logged and will send a search and rescue, because u tell them how long your going to be there for...they don't want unprepared morons going to dangerous areas if they not prepared for it!
i wouldnt want to waste my tax money on rescuing them later down the road.
Laughed my ass off when y’all were pulling the old man and his Jeep out 😂
I really do hate to say it. But my ford would have not gotten stuck 😂 sorry not sorry
It would have broken down in the driveway😂
Lol
Wound work better with a jeep tho. Jk brand dont mater. Its all about gearing skill and good tires
@@bryanm6085 true true lol
@@chickensfloat7427 its not about the brand, its really all about the maintenance and care of the vehicle
