I have been giving mums a try since I watched a video of yours from last year. I have had pretty good luck so far. I cut them back just after July 4th, now I need to fertilize. Those ones you ordered were beautiful. Next spring I am going to try rooting some cuttings.

I love mums! I didnt realize how many different ones there are... some day I will get some new varieties.. I got a couple last year they put out at Home Depot..and they bloom every other month I cut them back whan they bloom out... and I just love them... thanks for giving so much info and showing how many different ones there are ❤

Also, an unrelated question: I remember that at some point you mentioned that you sow your snapdragons in the summer and plant them out in the fall. Very helpful video. I purchased some heirloom mums, from Bluestone, after watching your previous videos. They are looking very healthy. I did pinch them around July 4th but didn't cut back as much as you did.

All but 1 made it through the crazy hot and dry weather! I’ve been hitting them with fertilizer so they can get ready for blooms! I hope to have blooms in mid October!
