Nintendo said early on that they wanted to have a longer than normal generation with the Switch. So, I was always thinking 2026. Now, from a business standpoint, not from a leaks standpoint, Nintendo plans to focus on selling their bundles this holiday. Those consoles can be returned all through January, which will solidify their 2023 sales. These things said, they will likely reveal it in February, to release it in March or April. This also gives them enough time to ramp-up production volume, as they said they wanted to do, to battle the bots at release. Trust me, if you take what Nintendo has said, combined with business sense, you land on a Feb. 2025 reveal. That would mean that for the next 150 days, we'll see Switch 2 prediction videos--everyday.
Who all is looking back to like the accurcy of this comment in April, 2025?
I was actually thinking, with a 10,000 foot view, it's releasing next year, months after reveal. So announce like after Christmas, and approximately 4 months after to be out about April or May.. January February announcement. Thanks ❤

The switch lifespan can continue even after the switch 2 launches. It’s like how PS4 gets support still. And the switch is already gonna be 8 years old soon, so that in itself is a longer than average generation
And there’s also such a thing as too long, switch sales in Japan are almost non existent and people want something new.

I think a reveal in mid to late October. Nintendo probably wants echoes of wisdom to get some spotlight for a few weeks.
my predictio is a wireless HDMI connector so there is no docking needed.

Nintendo switch released on march 3rd 2017 switch on March 7 2025. Both of these days are on a Friday.

@@angelvillegas9604 the PS5 can play PS4 games, not the other way around. And the switch obviously didn’t play 3ds games. But the switch 2 will likely be backwards compatible
So interesting how the deductive reasoning and critical thinking is wasted on electronic toys and not government decisions and pharma products.
