My generator light and oil light do not turn on at all. I replaced bulbs and socket and still nothing. Wiring is all hooked up as well. What could be the problem. Someone told me something about the reverse lights not plugged in will cause this problem. Is that correct? Thanks
It sounds like the wires for the two filaments on that bulb in the turn signal assembly may be reversed. Meaning the low filament which should be hooked up to the running light wire is hooked up to the turn signal wire and vice versa. Another possibility may be a bad ground on one of the tail light or turn signal assemblies.

Just bought a 75 bug. Turn signals work fine but when headlights are on the left side doesn't flash.
