I don’t think their voices are bad together at all, both Jiena and Imai honestly do an amazing job at voicing An and Akito, it’s just the mixing on their alt covers that make it bad

Actually their voices totally complement each other, in my opinion! You can hear that in Alter Ego, for example, where they perfectly mash together and the mixing is actually nice. But I agree that in their covers something is almost always off, beginning from the mixing (I don't know why they mess up with that, it's just so sad) and, in my opinion, the fact that they don't let Imai use is high register, which is way stronger than his lower one and blends better with Jiena's, that often. I really hope that someday they will fix these problems, because these two together are powerful as hell!

I love Akian so much, both in songs cuz their voices blend so well together, and also in content cuz they have such a nice dynamic together, and their scenes together are so funny and cute (same goes for Toukoha, I also like Akikoha's and Antoya's dynamic too) it's sad how overhated they are, but y'know, we Akian shippers don't care about it and stay strong till the end! it’s not that people dislike the song, it’s that people dislike the akian cover since it isn’t mixed well and they’re both forced to perform far out of their normal vocal ranges? idk if i’m describing this correctly but they made akito sing way too low and an sing way too high. akito sounds tired and an’s voice is so strained it’s hard to listen to,, sad thing is it could have been really good if they didn’t make them sing that way/mixed the cover better. especially with how good all the other vbs archives are + just every vbs song… we know akian can perform better than this and we know colopale can mix better than this idk it was disappointing
