I love the chocobo racing mini game! So many good mini games. Really can't understand people who complain about them, they're just mini games. People need to chill out and have fun.
Some of these mini games would have insane longevity with an online matchmaking component. This and QB and Fort condor (intermission version) come to mind specifically
I liked them as well, but I understand the complaint, since the problem is mostly that mini games replaced a lot of « actual » side content Mini games were fun (most of them anyway), but if we could have had a little less mini games and a little more of actual side quests, exploration and combat oriented, that would have been better imo
You guys did a phenomenal job with the Chocobo Racing, i had a blast playing it multiple times, thank you for all the hard work! The more i think about it, the more i'm sure Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is the best game this year, regardless of what any award show might say, can't wait for part 3!
Chocobo racing and Queens blood should have couch co op. I would have a blast with my brother. FFVIIR is my GOTY and one of my favourite games of all time.
I really really wish Square would release a game that's nothing but Rebirth's chocobo racing. Like Astrobot but chocobo racing. I enjoyed it so much. I also wish FFXIV would update their choco racing to Rebirths system. I'm just so in love with it.
This mini game was very well done and had a unique spin while also feeling inspired by Mario Kart in a good way. I really hope the snowboard mini game takes inspiration from the SSX series or even Tony Hawk if that makes sense. I hope many of the Rebirth mini games return with either new courses or twist. I understand they plan on cutting them, but I am simply begging haha.

completely blind for seven years now, but definitely remember playing this as a young teenager I believe on an OPM demo disk, and loved it and played it all the time, CTR was awesome also
While I really enjoyed Rebirth it just felt like Mini game the game. I do like mini games BUT I hope the 3rd one isn’t over stuffed with them. More story focus and less mini games and the 3rd game would be perfect.

Wish this sold more copies. I want Square to succeed and I really hope 3 isn't rushed or lacking content because of the recent financial stuff. This game is one of the best games of the decade. I am not even a huge fan of this genre, and I can understand why some people prefer the original FF7, but in spite of any flaws the game still absolutely deserves a 10/10.
Chocobo Racing reminded me of Crash Bandicoot racing. It was my favorite mini-game after Fort Condor, Queens Blood, & the Battle Simulators. Chocobo Glide was the WORST one 😂😂😂 3D Brawler was the toughest mini-game. I left it for the last one to complete.
Wouldn't it be nice if we could all sit down on the couch together and play chocobo racing VS each other... maybe add some online play too... Maybe a whole game of online and couch co-op games in the gold saucer... And it was cross platform on day one.. And you can earn GP by doing community events together, maybe even have a Golden Ticket every 3 months (battle pass) that gives extra GP, and a boost to GP gains for your self and your party, and the more people you have in your party who don't have a golden ticket ( so the more free to play players ) who are in your party the multiplier of GP games goes up! making it beneficial for every one to have free to play people in your party and that would help grow a more positive community! There can also be a homeless person you can donate gil to once the community has donated enough gil the devs can implement a community voted on set of mini games. The player housing would be your hotel room you could customise and outfit. All things community, from weddings, births, deaths, celebrations.
