Jeep YJ Walkaround Part 2 - June 2019

I had a few new additions to the Jeep. This is part 2 of my walkaround.
Front - Wagoneer 44 full hi steer 30spline rcv with Yukon zip locker 5:13 gears, air locker

Looking at getting a yj and doing this but can’t find any info on if the driveshaft needs swapped after adding stretch kit. Is that something you had to do? Thanks in advance

Note my old CJ5 leans to one side or the other after having just one person in it , new 2.5 springs , just the way it is I guess.

What did you do for the steering?

I have the same moto stretch kit on mine with stock junkyard XJ leafs; what are you running on your rear? Are those stock height? And they look decently stout; what brand on those as well? Running TOYO open country MTs 40x15.5x20 and lift clears it great but it’s time to swap the rusty junk with some new life!

Mitchell Lenton thank you. I’m running a 88 with Yukon ultimate 88 kit and grilley locker. Stock xj leafs as well on 37 good year mtr Kevlars. I have a 4bt that I’m debating swapping in. Not sure yet

Mitchell Lenton not sure. I think there just generic brand and don’t even remember where I purchased them. I have a spreadsheet on my build and the leafs have no part number price or any info other than me knowing they suck lol. A bit rough but you get used to it and remember to brace yourself before a road bump or hole you can’t avoid. Haha

How did you get the stance so wide?

Jarretbiz neg 3.5 inch back spacing on the wheels. Rear axle has a Yukon ultimate kit which adds about 1 inch. Width is perfect for street and trail.
