Nikon is a meme of sorts on the youtube camera community but it's a shame because they have been making some nice cameras, especially recently. Glad that you aren't joining the hype of hating on Nikon, cause these photos all look great. Just shows it the photographer, not the camera :)
This was the basis of my proposals. I began my creative journey on a Nikon and I want more people to have trust in them.
Memes are jokes. They are not meant to be taken seriously lol. At the end of the day no one will be able to tell with what camera you shot a good picture... So relax

Jokes made by Sony and Canon users, mostly because they know how good Nikon really is. It’s just their insecurities showing, so they use jokes to deflect what they are hiding deeper down. I would never worry when comparing photos from Nikon and Sony, as Nikon algorithms produce far better colours and finish then Sony. Canon on the other hand do produce lovely colours as well.
@@HoLeeChit11 after using all three this is my verdict in terms of colours.
You can achieve the same look from every single one. So if you shoot raw then it makes absolutely zero difference.
If you shoot jpeg and don’t edit.
Canon takes the top spot. For the image straight out of camera. That being said. If you edit the picture profiles on both the Sony and Nikon you can achieve the same tones.
Everyone has different preferences but the truth is, there’s no difference like you said.
The Sony handles well in low light which is a huge plus for me. The Nikon (I’m going out tonight to see what I can do) the canons I’ve used do well but still slightly behind Sony in terms of (dynamic range) in video but the canon straight out of camera colour wins if you don’t know what you’re doing. If you do then all are exactly the same.
The fact that you did all of that with a kit lens is amazing. I'm a new Z6 photographer and to see that my images can look like this out of the box with some color grading is inspiring.
The kit lens though is an S series lens, that's 1000$.. it's like Fuji kit lenses for the X-Tx series, they are not kit lenses as in cheap etc. They are kit lenses for being packed with the body, but it's fully professional equipment :)

I really admire photographers' imagination and creativity. They already see the final result of an image before capturing it.

Great video, looking to get the Z6, if you see this what camera settings do you use for shots like the one you took of the car passing the parked car, for the motion effect, mainly shutter speed I guess

Nice to see you testing out the Nikon Z6 mate! I do notice some difference in quality with the sony ones, but I guess that's just me. The edits are so nice and that shot of the girl crossing the street was by far the best of the video in my opinion :) That pedestrian crossing is becoming as famous as the one of the beatles if you continue to shoot all of these epic shots at that place! Love the Z cameras and glass. I agree that the grip is great, but I haven’t noticed anything being fiddly (I guess it’s whatever you’re used to). Looking forward to the night shoot.
I’m use to Sony so it just a shift in where buttons are etc but it’s not bad in anyway 🤙🏼
Have you ever tried shooting like this with a Fujifilm camera? Would be fun to see a video like this where you use an X-T2 or 3 (because the way the screen flips to allow portrait/vertical photos is amazing to me (so quick!)) with the 56mm f1.2 and the 90mm f2.

I walk around London but don't think I've seen this place.
I always here that the cheapest 50mm is good for daytime street photography, but been now I hear of people using 85mm.
I only do daytime London photography, as have no one to co,e out at night.

Great Photos. Somewhere in the video, you were tapping the screen to take the photo. The tap to focus and snap feature seems quite usable on this camera.
Yeah it’s pretty good, I found sometimes though it might slightly miss focus however maybe with a better lens it would perform better.

Dude the way this camera took your processing looks amazing . I love how the colors look on the Nikon, not as blue as the Sony .
Also , did you sharpen the images more than usual or you think that’s just the Z lens?
I was debating between Sony or Nikon . The aiii Sony I noticed is not as yellow leaning as the aiv. It’s also a bit more rich in color imo.
With Nikon I noticed the 6ii and the 6 are not as blue tinted as the z 7’s.
I heard someoke say the original z6 looked different then the 6ii. I gotta do lore research bc i feel your photos here show the potential of the processing. It looks so deep and rich tbh I prefer this over your sonys, they all look nice but I fee this combo you used here looks fantastic , it’s very deep in color but also very sharp, atleast on your videos it seems like the sharpest shots Iv seen so far
Love you videos! Just a quick question - what setting did you use? I see that you changed your shutter speed etc so I was just wandering if you used aperture priority or something
I always shoot manual, with this being an f4 lens I kept it as low as possible, I changed the shutter speed to keep it at f4.

Pretty cool! I love street photography PoV's.
Although, what I find strange (and at times irritating) is the fact that every time there's a youtuber with a mirrorless camera, they'll take portrait orientation pictures while using live view only. It does help that we can see the settings/handling on the gopro footage, but still it bugs me for some reason (maybe because I started with reflex cameras? no idea...)
I started with a d7000, portrait is for instagram purposes. As landscape images get cropped more and portrait at 1920x1080 takes up more real estate on the feeds.
Using the screen is purely down to the fact it’s firstly way easier, secondly for the benefit for the video, if I am shooting client work I normally use the view finder.

I just recently started checking out PoV photography videos (loving yours so far, by the way), and found it strange that out of 5 or 6 different photographers/youtubers, all of them were shooting mostly portrait orientation.
As for the live view, I do use it for tricky shots, but otherwise find it uncomfortable and doesn't get me in the mood to photograph (rather the other way around - I'd only use live view when not in the mood (except again for those tricky shots)). But hey, in the other hand, I do appreciate it in the videos, so we can see what/how you frame. So I have mixed feelings about the whole thing haha!
Anyways, keep up the cool content.

@@kaligar with my dslr I never used live view as I thought it was well shit . But with the mirrorless it’s honestly amazing and being that the view finder is also a live view exactly the same as the screen just smaller it makes sense to use the bigger screen to see your subject.

Great shots.. again. But my question is, how many GoPro batteries do you go through? They don’t last long.
1 per hour of footage is typical for me. So only ever really use one per POV. If you leave it on then it’ll die quicker but I just turn it on and off. With the hero 8 when it’s off if you just press the record button once it’ll turn in and start recording straight away. Then when you press it to stop it automatically turns off 🤙🏼

Two things, is that how you get chicks deets and two, how strange is London these days. I was up there with the family last Saturday and it was actually shocking seeing how deserted it was before Xmas and how many shops were empty around Covent Garden and Leicester Sq.

Yeah but instead of having one 30 minute pov video I make two 15-20 minute ones 🤙🏼

You only have to wear it inside shops, mass transport system or when attending demonstrations etc

Was this the Z6 or Z6 mk2? I use a D750 and when it finally gives up I am thinking mirrorless is probably the way forward?
This is the Z6 🤙🏼 I don’t think you have to go mirrorless I think it’s a very good option. The biggest plus side to me is the size of mirrorless cameras tend to be smaller which benefits me for travel etc.
