Not one of the games you mentioned are finished and funny enough. Wild West was abandoned for medieval, and medieval has since been practically abandoned, with most of the team moving to sengoku. And now, guess what happened again.

I think this game looks awesome and will be a great game! There is alot of potential with this game and it could even end up becoming bigger than medieval dynasty in the end. I do have a list of suggestions that I think could help this game blow up and even succeed. As someone who is big into old Norse studies the viking community is one that deserves much more love in the entertainment industry. For starters the story. I’d suggest you have a story similar to medieval dynasty and one based off of the old sagas. Maybe you start off as a young man who’s parents are killed in a raiding party and you set off to find your uncle or Grandfather. Eventually over time you can gain access to land where you can have a wife (and a child) like in Medieval dynasty and even be able to build boats if you live next to a river. After building a boat you can gather companions (up to 4 others) and go raiding in other territories. Gameplay mechanics - companions: have up to 3-4. They can help you ride your ship faster and can help you carry more things. You can fully customize their gear and armor. - marriage: similar to Medieval dynasty. You can eventually have a child, who can become a prince. - armor: I’d suggest adding light armor (animal skins) and heavy armor (chainmail and Lamellar). I would add multiple different cosmetics for both armors. Maybe for light you can have wolf (ulfhednar), bear and deer skins. For heavy you can have chainmail, Lamellar and scale. I’d also add helmets, but make them more cosmetic than anything. - weapons: I would add axes, swords, Seaxs (langseax) and clubs. Spears should also be added as they were the most common weapon among the Norse. Bows and Crossbows should be added as well but should be rare. Crossbows did exist and were used by the Norse at the end of the viking age. I would also add maybe some mythological swords as well as Easter eggs. Maybe mjolnir and Odins sword Gram as unique Easter eggs. - ships: I’d make ships somewhat customizable, similar to Assassins Creed Valhallas ship customization. - historicity: I’d make the game maybe semi-historical, but more on the historical accurate side. Obviously doesn’t have to be a one for one historical game but it would be cool to make it at least historically pleasing. - combat: keep same as Medieval dynasty. - raiding: I would obviously add preset villages everywhere, and obviously make them neutral where you could raid them if you wanted too. I would definitely add bandit camps which could be raided freely whenever you want. I would add well over a dozen bandit camps in the base game with maybe two or three new ones added every update for new content. I would also add a danegeld type system to the neutral villages where if you and your companions kill enough villagers then the jarl or head villager will plead to your men to make peace. If you except you can get either a lot of gold or a new consort to marry. If you return and raid the same village again you’ll ultimately become enemies with that village forever. - Attributes: attributes are essentially classes tied to a deity. When selecting one you decide a patron deity. I would include Thor, Odin and Tyr. Thor gives you a +10 In strength (carry weight), Odin gives you a +10 in wisdom (+10% faster leveling) and tyr gives you a +10 in combat. After building a temple (hoff) you can build an altar for each deity, and eventually leave offerings for a certain deity, which will give you a +5% increase in their respective class for 24-48 hours. These are just some ideas I’ve come up with. I’ll leave more ideas as I come up with them.

They aren't combat focused games, yeah there is some combat but it's not super in depth. Nor are they super story driven. These games are made for people who just want to build a colony and gain reputation. It's basically sims
Finally, a realistic build-and-survival viking game. Closest thing we got is Valheim, which I loved, but I'd choose history over mythology any day of the week. All I ask for is a bit better gameplay movement, including horse riding, and combat. If we could finally sheath our weapons physically (for some strange reason, most devs don't bother about this), particularly shields on back, that would be a massive bonus
For the love of gaming I wish gamers would learn the difference between a developer and a publisher. A developer makes it. A publisher owns it. A publisher has the rights to slap the name of a popular game they own on literally anything they want.

So, i will count finished game when it will have ALL that Medieval Dynasty and Sengoku have. If not: It's not v.1.0. I want: building, farming, family, tavern and afterwork things, living world with people walking on all roads, armory and weaponsmith with enemies raiding village and enemy outposts. You can add decorations and other similar things in updates after. Sengoku still have death world. I want to see some random travellers, villagers, merchants going on map. Some of them to stop in player village if close to main road. Like in tavern.

Both Sengoku Dynasty and medieval Dynasty are amazing games, wild west dynasty needs major work.

I think medieval dynasty is great, but it lacks a lot of features. Hopefully devs will still improve medieval dynasty while working on this.

Are there village raids and looting? there ships etc.? Because if there are no ships in a Vikings game, then that game is not a Vikings game.
