Topps solely having the license is not a good thing. Competition breeds innovation and better products. Panini really screwed up but we need a company like upper deck to try and step back in
I went to the flea market earlier today and a seller had a bunch of various unsold Panini baseball blasters for like $10 each, even then they aren't worth it.
I like Bud Selig way more than the jabroni they got now in there. I like the Chronicles because of the designs. Topps blasts us all year with the same designs on multiple occasions, for example, 1987 Topps. We get it as inserts in topps flagship once every five years and we see them in base and chrome form, and after that, we get to see them again in 2022 Topps Archives. It's hard to organize at times man.
Panini still has rights to Mantles image. Topps was only given rights to use his image for the 70th anniversary. Mantles estate does claim Panini has treated them a lot better than Topps. While Topps does have logos, they have been treating card shops and estates badly.
There are some nice looking cards in the set that would be nice if you wanted to get them signed, other than that not a big fan of the current edition of Chronicles retail. Thanks for the review as always.
Not bad, I like all the different designs. Def better than the prizm boxes. I'm glad prices are dropping. Topps Chrome was ridiculous, $40 a box! Last year, they were 30, so I'd kill to have that again 😂😭
Although these cards look ok, they kinda look empty in some cases, not having the team logo or colour design on their sleeves and such. You can really notice it
The fact that there isn’t a numbered card in every other pack is kind of crazy to me. That means that despite not being a very popular product they probably printed a TON of this. We will be seeing these with a 17 dollar sticker on them for a while.
Ill never buy panini again, since they ripped me off....one, by giving me points for a hit, two, by giving me a redemption instead of an auto, three, for never sending my redemption auto. Redemptions should be illegal in all products.
These cards are junk. Cheap looking. I personally wouldn't even want them in my collection. Topps or nothing for me. I miss the days of more companies having licensing.
Preciate the video, Jabs! Always great content! 🙏

You'll also find there will be less auto's and stuff since they know people will buy regardless. You're absolutely right about needing competition.
100%
I got 2 relics out of my Holiday box. I'll take it
-- flushing noises --
Love Juan Soto younger brother relic card
have you picked up any of the topps bob ross joy of collecting? Probably the nicest looking set of the last few years, imo
That junk should be dirt cheap next season.
Glad I'm not buying it.

My dad and I opened Bowman Platinum tonight for a video later this week and they are the worst to open ever!
U got a number card in the blaster box .the last box
Walgreens has boxes of baseball cards and they have Mickey Mantle cards in them
First comment. LOVE YOU JABBS!!!
Blasters might be worth it now for Chronicles. Last year 35 dollars for 20 cards??!! Really happy to see the price go down and the cards go up!

Love the Revolution cards

I definitely think hobby is the way to go, 130 for three autos and a relic much better than retail!
De los santos card 1/99look at the card out the last blaster box
i would rather buy mj holding mystery boxes b4 i buy anything panini mlb.
Wal-Mart is selling topps holiday mega boxes online for $43. Not a reseller but walmart themselves..

It’s a shame, I just hate how Panini doesn’t have the license to make their products great. Love the designs, just not what you get.
Can’t believe how overpriced this garbage is.

Stay away from these
Just don’t understand making cards of people who aren’t in the game anymore unless it’s an auto or a relic of them. Drives me nuts.
$1 a card for a panini product is a huge 🚩🚩🚩. Hard pass folks
Interesting designs...very limited value
So baseball cards are groceries? Lol
I’m not a fan of these. Thanks for sharing.
