"The height of glamour" - made me laugh out loud. I never wear pj bottoms either - thank goodness I don't own a cat 😂 My youngest daughter is always cold and the visual image I have of her wearing slippers, socks, pj bottoms, the blanket coat and a beanie is hysterical -

It's summer here in South Africa, so I feel like this is the perfect time to plan for the upcoming winter season. I love the Billy Blanket...we don't have heating here, so that would definitely keep us all warm in the winter. I also love the Skater dress because of all the options. Probably the first thing I will make, though, will be the scarf. I've crocheted some, but now that I am back sewing, I'm keen to sew some. I love that you can choose different types of fabrics for varying temperatures. Thanks for all the cozy winter sewing ideas!

I love watching your videos and that cowl hoodie and skater dress pattern are right up my street clothing wise. The only garment I have ever sewn was a little summer dress for a 2 year old that was far from perfect, it knocked my confidence and put me off trying anything else !!. I do however sew bears and bags. You make it all seem so easy, keep safe, and I look forward to your next video :-)

I have a bit of a fabric issue....not really though because my philosophy is "If they're going to practically give it away, I'm going to buy it". Somehow I have found sales I've never ever seen again and won't so yah, before it gets noticed moreso I need to sew til June ;) Tons of knits from GirlCharlee.com (LOVE) and actually struggling with some because I have a lot of a light to medium weight so not leggings really and so many dresses and summer tops but need more ideas. In case you want a challenge?! Robe with a hood....??
thank you again Claire. I printed the sock pattern but its covered in thick black grid lines so I can barely make out the pattern underneath. Anyone know how i can print this pattern out with out these obscuring lines?
Don't worry on such a small project! Just get in there and play with it! :) You could also try two different thickness and see which one will work for you and remember the type of shoe or boot you wear will matter as well! Play with it and have FUN!

Have you tried those socks yourself? I,m worried they're not gonna be confortable in shoes...
I have tried them, they are great, but yes, you will have the seams! One of my subscribers said it would be a great idea to do seams on the outside!
No I havent. I wasn't envisioning wearing them outside, more for around the house to keep warm and cozy.
