I want to try the cielo top. So cute! Your videos are so fabulous! So much work that seems complicated and it isn’t even sewing!! Keep up the good work!
THANK YOU for these ideas! I went back and watched some of your previous videos with the free pattern suggestions and thank you for recommending those also! I really enjoy your videos.
Thank you. I have not made any clothes for some years and am very encouraged by you as I have expanded in size and am not sure what would suit me. It is great to see clothes on larger models.thank you again
I'm not a beginner but I think this video is bomb.com! Now I just need Sew Over It to increase their regular patterns into plus size. I know about the e-book sewing patterns. But it's the regular patterns I need them to work on, I'm sure many people feel the same way.
It's super hot here in Houston. I have to do errands in mornings only. In love with the Perez dress. I'm going to do stretch denim. Such a pretty plaid you're wearing. awesome pattern choices!
I love - and need- the information you give about the best fabrics to use. As I have discovered many times, even beginner patterns can fail if sewn with the wrong weight/stretch/look, etc of fabric. Love the information. Enjoy the warmth; we've just had an antartic blast in southern Australia. Snow where we never get snow!
I am really enjoying the sewatop challenge Claire - so much inspiration - thank you! I have made the Cielo top, and it's great. It is really simple as you say, but somehow the way it is cut it just sits really well and always looks nice.
Thanks again! I had no idea Names had started to expand their sizes. Sadly I am not included in the range but they have a few patterns I would consider grading shud they be expanded soon.... I just made two Helen's Closet Winslow's on rayon and chambray both year round makes. I haven't bought a seamwork pattern in a while and might just get the cardi. I have a nice semi sheer wool blend that would be fab for this! Thanks Claire stay cool sending a breeze your way from hot Lalaland, CA❣️🌈✌🏿
Love your bright plaid top! Great colors for your complexion! Very nice video! Got your message and I will be in touch. Today got another LN! The "retired" Origami Tunic and Cardi! Two lovely gems!!! I am getting vision for the fall already! This should be our last week of hot weather..........hope you cool down a bit there! :)
Hi Claire, i 've just recently discovered your channel and am totally loving it. I'm looking forward to catching up on everything i missed and all future videos. Someday i would love tobeable to make myself some clothes
Not that I’ve needed a lot of convincing but this does have me more sold on the Winslow’s be Helens closet. I should really just buy the pattern cause I can’t seem to find culottes online that are full length and plus size... and Shopping is out of the question right now.
I like the looks of The December Dress pattern but don’t know how I can deal with PDF patterns besides my printer out of order. Can’t get ink cartridges for it anymore
You could get a cheap toner printer. I paid £40 for mine and only buy £10 toners once a year. Otherwise you could send the A0 file that you get with the pdf to the printers.
@@Penguinandpear thanks so much. Looking at your other posting about working with PDF’s. This is great! What type of pattern making paper do you use for your working pattern?
Hurray, MBJM! I know you try very hard to choose size inclusive patterns, but I noticed that some claimed to go to size 30 or more, but the measurements quoted for those sizes were not as inclusive as the size range suggested, always goes to show how important measuring is.
You are so right. Thats why I always mention or show upper measurements not just say size 30. I talked about the importance of measurements in my q and a video too.
I want to see what your wearing! I love the colors! That plaid is FAB!
My fav to try will be Winslow Culottes.
Your hilarious I love your channel. I’ve been sewing a long time but I’ve learned from u already. Keep them coming please.
Great video! Losing sew jo is so relatable! Happens to me all the time!😂
Thanks Claire. 🌷💙 Love the sweatshirt options! But truly inspired by all 🙂
