Nice comparison, I think the Tomica looks most realistic, but that Ertl unpunched version is the most amazing. Agreed with you on the old premium packaging, they were pretty bad compared to current cards, so bad for storage... Thanks for the video Dude👍

Wow, supercool comparison of various KITT models :) I have two mainline 1/64 KITT's from 2012 + other scales. That Michael Knight figurine seems to be very well made, looks soo realistic, like he's talking to the comlink "KITT, come and get me!" :D
Yes, for a 1/64 the figure is really good and it makes the car complete

Sweet KITT collection 👍 You can partially cut open the Ertl blister with a precision knife so you can take out the car for video purposes 😉 Like I did with the Audi R8 Spyder $TH, and afterwards you can put it in a protecto for safe keeping
But then the vintage air in the package runs away😟 I'm to scared that I will damage the car or package 😏
I know now where to find an A team van.!!

But have to say i have a soft spot for that vintage Ertl, no it 's not detailed or realistic, but it's product of its time and you can recognise that it s KITT 😀

Good video, thanks. I got the Tomica myself as soon as I saw they were available, it's much better than Hot Wheels in terms of the shape and proportions. You can make the wheels look even better too, if you paint the center caps right to the edges, as Tomica have just stamped a black circle in the middle. I can send a pic of mine if you want?

All tomica diecasts have no side mirrors. Except TLV.

Leuke van de 1:18 is dat je het nummerbord kan draaien zoals in de serie ook kon achterlicht hoor zwart te zijn je ziet de rode lichten pas als ze aan gaan. Zijspiegels echt wel op KITT. Sorry ben nog steeds groot Knight Rider fan. Hoop dat Hot Wheels nog de cabrio versie uitbrengt die ontbreekt nog en naar tuurlijk de truck zou mooi zijn
Het is idd jammer van de zijspiegels. Het allermooiste van de 1/18 is natuurlijk het rode licht aan de voorzijde

i don't agree for the wheels, tomica look like steel wheels with a center hubcaps from a cheap small car of the 80's
But it comes closest to reality.
