mid tier, not even among the best mid tiers.there is a reason only dabuz is still playing her. this game is balanced enough a mid tier can beat a top tier, so long it's not one of the top 3 (pika, snake, joker)
Rosa is supposed to counter chars like Peach and Daisy but get bullied by them cuz of their op and Rosa's trash hitboxes... She is low mid tier on nearly every tier list
Rosa is definitely high tier. Dabuz is making Top 8 with her consistently. A character who consistently makes Top 8 and has good matchups against some of the top tiers (Fox, Mario, etc.) is not mid-tier. This last patch was actually extremely important for her because full shield now covers Luma. Dabuz actually believes her to be one of the borderline Top Tiers (not that I agree with that). If you want more information of why specifically he believes what he does, go watch the Rosa section on his 7.0 tier list. You may call it over exaggerating but when 1) he’s the one putting in the work with the character (and not just a Ryu or Ken case where people put them way higher than their results indicate without even using them because “muh potenial”) and 2) most top level players are fighting him with the years of Rosa MU experience from Smash 4, he has every right to put her wherever he wants
@@moth5414 I personally play Olimar but my brother plays Rosa since Sm4sh and Luma dies from everything, he said its not the same anymore..He said that Rosa back in 4 was öretty good, not op but pretty damm good..but now Luma dies from everything, its ridiculous :/ I just hit luma with a simple dash attack and if I knock him off-stage, luma is dead and thats kinda sad :/

I agree, all players should have a secondary character that they can use in case of a bad match up. At the very least have an easier type character that doesnt require much practice/training like mario or Lucina.
learning another character to play at top level takes away practice time from their main and prevents them from finding solutions in those mu's /develop that characters meta. And considering how much time you need to learn the 75+ mu's in ult knowing which mu's are bad enough to require a switch would take time, not one or two sets.

Well if you think he’s boring now he was more campy in smash 4. But I don’t care playing Rosa requires a lot of skill and tech so seeing her do well and being played in an efficient way is more exciting that seeing a boring ninja character like Greninja.
Ophelia Valentine My bad I forgot to add “IMO” at the end of my comment lol. I would argue that Rosa is 10x more boring to watch than a Greninja any day regardless of how easy/hard it is to play either. Especially with Dabuz playing her. Also I’d hardly call it “tech” concerning Rosa. This ain’t Melee Ice Climbers haha. Speaking of, even if he was playing as the Climbers or any character that might be “difficult” to master or get used to for that matter if he’s camping at a corner for the majority of the matches and waiting for others to approach, I don’t care how hard it is to use a character (or how much skill it takes) it’s boring to watch period. In My Opinion lol.
TheDanMan well u stated ur opinion I stated mine. I find Rosa fun to watch because I play her. But I think Dabuz is playing more aggressive in Ultimate than he would play in smash 4. He barely camped at the corner and did you see those nair combos? Dabuz finished his stock in 16 sec which is no where near being campy. That’s pretty aggressive for Rosalina and I guess that’s why they gave her that new move so that she can approach more as opposed to in smash 4 where she had crappy approach options so she had to rely on trapping characters or walling them out. Which people found boring back then.
Ophelia Valentine Well I guess we have different opinions on camping lol. I’m not saying he wasn’t ledge-guarding or securing kills at all just to be clear. Also this is just a perfect example of different tastes and opinions I suppose, because I found those nair combos boring as well. I just don’t really like the character I guess (Also not a fan of Dabuz lol. Doesn’t help he also plays as Olimar another character I don’t like lol) In short I guess we just need to agree to disagree.
