Great video as always thank you.
One point for getting this scope as an older person you wouldn't immediately consider as a younger man is that any scope gives an older person the ability to aim much easier, if I wear my reading glasses on open sights I can focus on the sights but not the target so well, and the reverse for long distance glasses. A scope gives me the ability to use my rifle without glasses. Getting older sucks 😀

I have two of these scopes. It's not all plastic. The tube is aluminum. When I first bought them, they were not accurate. Turned out that there're only two screws securing the turrets housing to the tube, therefore they couldn't hold zero. I just add a third screw using a hand drill and it worked like a charm.
Also I can adjust the parallax by removing the glue that holding the objective lens (front) as much as I can, and turn the lens frame until the reticle stays on the target even when I move my eye around. Just make sure you adjust the parallax at the distance you will do most of your shootings.

I have the same scope, but it is branded as a nikko stirling. Many companies buy this, and put their logo on it. I like it, it works, fine, and there is nothing even close to it in terms of price.

It was the first scope I got with a Chinese b3. If you want to shoot same hole again and again keep its eye piece tight .once I removed the screws of elevation and windage than increased the tension of the springs by stretching them a little zeroed it and it shoots accurately.

Enjoyed this video... clear and to the point! I've an old 1976 BSA Super Meteor propped up in the loft... think I'll be getting it out and testing it on the tin cans... should be ok, but, I recall replacing the plastic thingamajig, er breech seal, with a tightly wrapped paper one as, alas, there was no local gun shop anymore... but it seems to have done the trick!? Good video!!

I used to have exact scope on my crosman 1377 carbine although it was sold under SMK. It was a good little scope for plinking/ pest control up to and around 10metres. Think i paid around £7.99 inc postage off ebay. All the best from lancashire.

That’s cheap! I got a BSA branded 4x32 scope for my Victory CP2. It has the same focus method as your scope, but the mounts are proper and don’t rely on bendy metal. Thanks for the video, I look forward to them.

Small scope with good quality will be cool.. for keeping the rifle weight light.. but those types of scope are hard to find

Some very cheap optics have plastic lenses and a stop down in front of the main lense so it looks like say 30mm but in fact with the stop down it's only say 8mm .The stop down is common on cheap finder scopes fitted to astronomical telescopes.

Very enjoyable VT. Lots of great info to help the less knowledgeable or a noobie. Be interesting to find out if any of the more expensive Chinese scopes are worth the money

Shame you didn't have a quality 4x20 to compare to. Unless the scope is bouncing around on its mounts why does it effect your grouping I can see how it would ruin your single shot accuracy but why would it effect your grouping?

This is exactly like the first scope I ever got for an air rifle. The durability was terrible. After just several shots to get the scope zeroed in, I finally got it on target and was ready for the fun to start when the crosshairs snapped!

I had one like this.. After mounting the scope on my 22 RF Rifle.. the objects which can be seen with naked eye cannot be seen using this scope... All images are blurry and black and white especially when it rains and moisture is high.. Useless piece 😊

A decent scope mount would have make the difference. I own a 3-7x28 unbranded scope and the mounts are beyond bad...

An excellent vid , gave me an idea for my mrs's birthday in October , (60) and at £3.50 , a damn great bargain .. ok she doesn't shoot , in fact she doesn't really like guns , nonetheless , you can't look gift horse in the mouth , and for three and an half beer tokens , I just cant go wrong ... if she wants too sell it on after .. thats up to her .. I mean , what do you buy a woman who has basically everything ?..usually chicks love hoovers & cleaning stuff , but shes got all those ( its policy to keep the cleaning equipment cupboard well stocked for them ), well JRH youve come up trumps this time ..

i have about 6 of these things from all sorts of brands and they all suck so much :D i cant get them to zero.. it just wont hold even with low power co2 guns.
they only work at a given distance and that distance is never right making you have to put your head in a weird spot.

SMK make better scopes than that, putting the cheepo scope against the Nikko Stirling scope is pretty pointless.
