Your Strat looks amazing and sounds killer I’ve just got my dream CS fiesta red NOS 60’s RW neck like you can’t put it down nothing like a great Stratocaster😎🎸
Found your channel today while spiraling down a Mythos rabbit hole, and was instantly muttering, "This guy gets it." GREAT stuff! Then there's this video, which had an extra kick, as it appears your new Strat and mine left the Custom Shop in the same batch (11/20/2020). No joke. Ticked this box on my bucket list, at long last, just a few weeks prior. Such a brilliant, brilliant instrument. May yours bring you many years of inspiration.
Thanks so much Kurtis, that means a lot man! That’s crazy about our guitars! I am absolutely blown away by this instrument. I’m sure you know exactly what I’m talking about. Keep in touch man!
@@markhopkinsmusic Will do! By the by: can't go wrong with a CS '53 Twisted Tele. Neck pickup is very Stratty, so YMMV. Still, a lovely, lovely instrument that's every bit as hard to put down as the 61 WW10. If you ever wanted to feel like a parent with twins demanding to know which is the favorite. Cheers!
Love it! Just got myself a wildwood 10 postmodern tele last month and had a similar reaction to you with your strat. First custom shop, and oh my, oh my!

Great demo. I am a big fan of wildwood channel. Greg is the beast. I have been interested in what level of guitarists in the world buy a guitar from wildwood. I was pretty surprised that your play is so great. I sold CS strato last year. My strato was so great.
@@markhopkinsmusic I envy you a little bit. I sometimes remember my ex super CS strato. I can not buy a cheaper CS in future. Maybe I can not buy it. I felt your sound on open mic was cooler. It was more dinamic and natural like live. Have a good day.

@@markhopkinsmusic finally was able to come back and check this out. You made a killer choice, love it! I purchased a 60s CS Strat but it encountered damage in shipping. Man, I was absolutely crushed. It was everything I wanted. This wasn't from Fender or WW. Was another online retailer. It was also used. Anyhow, I ended up sending it back of course and went with an LSL Saticoy. I love the LSL. I still want to get another CS, so in time. Happy NGD! It sounds like you're going through something I experienced 4 or 5 years back. I was a die hard Suhr'ist, and ended up discovering a small builder in Toronto who made vintage-style strats and teles. While the Suhrs have ELITE playability, intonation, comfort, sustain, lack of hum, etc... They don't quite have the same type of character that a "real strat" (or tele) has. Less of a pointed edge.. More of a fat, full, balanced sound. For some people, that type of sound may be ideal.. Especially someone using higher gain tones, or a digital rig. So I sold my Suhrs and faithfully played a strat and tele for years.. Flaws and all. My tone radically improved, and I feel like I learned a lot from it. The Suhrs sound perfect, if that makes sense.. I was at a point with my playing where I was ready for something a little more dangerous. In the wrong hands, a classic Fender can be brutal to ears, but with the right nuance they can sound glorious. All that said, I've come full circle and now have 2 of each, LOL.... To be continued
