YES BULLET JOURNAL!! I love using a bullet journal because you can customize it to your liking. The beauty of it is that you can do whatever you want with it. Sure it may take up more time with the doodling and the layouts but if you do what you need to help you keep organized, it's worth it!
I am the same! I love my home. There's just something comforting about being surrounded by little things from you past that have shaped you as a person

OMG Carrie I love bullet journaling! I've been doing it for a month now! Don't think that it's procrastination. It can be whatever you want it to be. You don't need to waste time making it look really pretty if you don't want to. I make mistakes in mine all the time and it doesn't matter because you can just start a fresh on another page haha!
I keep track of my sleeping patterns, water intake, how much I read, i write down one good thing about my day in it too and it helps me be more productive because I have a list of all the stuff I want to do in the day and knowing that it needs to be ticked off makes me do it whereas if I didn't have the journal I would just put it off.
I also have lists of films I want to watch and tv shows I want to watch and stuff like that! It's helped me so much! I hope you love it too!
My mum just surprised me with tickets to come and see Chitty on Wednesday evening in Plymouth! I genuinely cannot wait to see you as one of my childhood idols!!! I'm so similar as well, I miss the the little things like the smell of my pillow and the way my shoes are lined up at the door. Most of all (apart from my family) I miss my cats. I just came back home today and the joy it gave me to see them bounding around the garden was an inexplicable state of happiness. Love you xoxo Megan
I love bullet journalling, it's nice to just get lost in organising and doodling sometimes. I love my gratitude page. Everyday in the month I write something in grateful for, or two things. Makes you see the positive even if it's a bad day. It's also nice to look back sometimes. Love your vlogs! Xx
Carrie I know you are away from home far more than me and I also know that finding room for comfort items in a suitcase is difficult but I find that taking family pics is very comforting and also taking a stuffed animal from when I was little or something special from a family member (like for you maybe it would be something Pete gave you or something...) no idea if this helps bur hope so. Also loved the NASA shirt!

Carrie, I get the feeling. I love going out and everywhere with family and seeing people and everything but I still miss it. I think we all get like that sometimes - we crave the comfort and warmth of our homes. Our own little places of comfort. Love your videos - you are my inspiration. Thank you so much Carrie. In my family we started this thing where at the beginning of each year, new years day, we all chose a word which we want to describe or strive towards during the year. This year mine is determination because it is my last year of college, and my first year of university, and I am determined to make it a better year than last. My mum's is brave because she wants to be braver etc. I think it is a nice idea because it is a reminder and something to strive for without being something you can fail. Your 'worth' at the beginning of your journal just reminded me of it (:

I started bullet journaling this year as well and it has really helped me deal with anxiety, stress and getting stuff done! Highly recommend! And doodling helps make it pretty too look back on.

I so identify with these sentiments! I am also an adventuring housecat, and I am torn between the dual productive planning and procrastinating feel of to-do lists/calendars (I've been meaning to give bullet journaling a try, and maybe now I will!) -- I've never heard these two feelings phrased so accurately!

The thing about bullet journalling is that people can get tied down to making it look perfect. It is perfectly okay to not have pages that are decorated, or to miss a few days/weeks. But hey, if drawing is what gets you zen, then by all means do it. And, if you happen to have something that truly gives you inspiration, then by all means just glue that sucker down! I love mine because I write down not only the things I have to do but an overview of my day (not all the time, but on significant days), like a mix between classic journalling and to do lists. I just imagine myself in future decades looking back on these journals and remembering the 'good times' ;)

I commented a similar thing on one of your previous videos but I thought I might add it again considering you're up here in Newcastle. Since you are here for two weeks I thought perhaps you'd like to know about some of the cuter places around for food/browsing/ general fun. About 5 mins walk away from the theatre is the grainger market (a little tucked away but that's what google maps is for) where you'll find a whole load of cheap and so delicious food and stuff (try the creperie its amazing) there's a Pret just as you walk up from the theatre towards the monument (since you mentioned you like to go there for food), Fenwicks on Northumberland street is a pretty average department store but on sunny days they have ice cream outside and a lovely flower shop next to it. If you fancy seeing some amazing views of the city, the Sage Gateshead has an amazing cafe and even better views oh and while waterstones is just up from the theatre if you fancy some book shopping, the library is only a few minutes away and its so much quieter and lighter. Doubt you'll see this but if you do here's a tiny guide to Newcastle :D xx
oh and there's quilliams tea room (although it's more like 15/20 mins from the theatre) which has so many different kinds of tea xx
I doodle in my bullet journal too! It makes planning seem less intimidating than it is. It also adds to the aesthetic as well. I hope you like bullet journalling!

While your up north you have to go to the Quiliam brothers tea house! Its amazing they have over 60 different types of tea, a lovely atmosphere, and amazing cake (I think the orange is the best!) Its just on the corner of the uni campus - and while you on campus the Newcastle fine art degree show opens on Friday night and is then open during the day time till the 26 of june ^.^ - should be amazing

I moved away to uni in September and I was so homesick it was ridiculous, I am 5 hours away from home and it was horrendous. But it gets better and for anyone worried about being home sick, it gets better :) xxxx
I always get that same kind of feeling when I'm away but I've never been able to pinpoint exactly what is was or why! I can relate so much! Even though some places are very homely or nicely decorated. It's never like home!

Welcome to Newcastle! The Theatre Royal is such a beautiful theatre and my safe haven. When my time comes I will be getting married on that stage. Many happy memories in that theatre :)
Since you're describing yourself as a house cat... I think while you're in Newcastle you should visit Mog on the Tyne, it's an adorable cat cafe about 5 minutes walk from the theatre :) I went for the second time yesterday and aaaabsolutely loved it! The cats there are so calm and beautiful.
I enjoyed this greatly! I totally get being adventurous and also loving your home, I'm spending more of June in different parts of the country than I am at home and July/August are headed in a similar direction. I'm super excited to start my journeying (in about 30 minutes!) but I know I'll miss my dogs and my stuff (and my parents I suppose) It's probably even more significant as prior to this you spend nearly 3 years in 1 place!
I've really been loving these vlogs of yours lately; there's something so genuine and thoughtful but also lighthearted about them and they're so lovely and interesting to watch, even though I can't usually get into vlogs.

I'm going to sixth form next year, and for a while I've been planning to do a bullet journal. These past few months of GCSEs have been hectic and I know it only gets worse, so to allow myself clear plans and goals, plus other stuff I want to do, in a really pretty way, I'm going to give it a go!
