If the green fabric sheet was transparent when you peeled off the white backing sheet, why didn’t you just leave the white backing sheet ON and just stick the whole (unpeeled) sheet into the inside of your bible? Looked stunning, though - well done!

After everything dries, does your cover crack when you open it? Your Bible looks beautiful and I’d love to try this! I just want to make sure things don’t crack and break off.
