Never tried ice hockey but can only imagine how difficult it is as well. And maybe I’m a little biased, but I’d like to see more respect put on ultrarunning and the marathon. A lot of people would laugh at that until they have to train for a whole year and run upwards of 100-200 miles per month, and go out and do 31-100 miles races. Whenever this topic comes up, our own biases take over more so than objective talking points. The sports we watched or especially play(ed) are going to be higher than those who have not watched or trained for the sport. For example, water polo to me will always be high since I played the sport and know how difficult it is to swim/tread water, try to score/play defense with the physicality the sport demands. But some of you might not even really know what a water polo game looks like. As a hockey and baseball fan, I appreciate how difficult those sports are for professionals, let alone amateurs. Hockey is number 1. hand eye coordination, speed physicality, its a flowing sport thats not played play by play where the coach can interfere all 30 minutes
I think Basketball is underratedly hard. It's an exhausting sport if you give it your all. There are so many skills that you need to master. Furst if all the mental game and then the fear of putting your reputation and ego on the line. You need to shoot, pass, dribble. You need to learn to read the game and make quick reactions in extremely tight spaces. You need to be athletic (jump high, quick first step, strong core or body in general, shifty). Then you need to master advanced moves (stepback pull up, finish with contact, change of directions mid air etc.). Basketball is so underrated difficult. I find it easier and easier since I train a lot, but Basketball is one tough sport. Apart from MotoGP, F1 (in general sports where you run or do a certain movement for a long time like marathons and triathlons as well), Hockey, martial arts, I think you'd hardly find a more exhausting sport(especially Ball sport).
I mean, it is hard to say which sport is the hardest since there are several important criteria to choose from. For example, a physically demanding sport like Muay Thai is also not as competive as baseball. Also, are we saying that being able to play it makes it an easy sport? Soccer is pretty easy to play, but it is the most competitive and playing in a top team is incredibly difficult. But with all my biases, my top 3 most difficult are: - Gymnastics - Soccer - Wrestling
@@tobialexander1346 my own personal opinion... of course this debate is anyways silly and very subjective. But for me the phisicality in basketball is significantly bigger (although the gap is shortening in the past 10-15 yrs)

Rugby, ice hockey, boxing, and gymnastics belong on this list more than some of those sports. Marathon running (so taxing that it can only be done a few times a year) too.......
As someone who never played hockey, I can acknowledge that it's the ULTIMATE athlete's sport, and the hardest sport to play. You need everything. Physicality, stamina, speed, strength, hand-eye coordination all while doing it on a surface that's totally foreign to normal human movements. There's a literal barrier to entry in playing hockey. You take a pro football player and put them on a basketball court, they could probably compete at college level. you take a basketball player and put them in pads, they could probably compete at a college level. you take any athlete and put them in golf, they couldn't beat a good high school golfer. you take lebron james and put him in a hockey rink, he's going to get schooled by an all-star peewee kid.
Tennis I think is the most difficult sport. So many sets if the skills are leveled. Boxing is tough. I think gymnastics is ridiculously difficult as well.
Boxing/MMA/fighting sports is the hardest sport…… it is physically and mentally taxing….. #2 gymnastics #3 Tri-athalon’s #4 football #5 baseball is hard because hitting a baseball coming at 90mph is extremely really difficult

4. Rugby
5. Soccer
Hockey baby. Skating, checking, slap shots, speed
Hockey is number 1. hand eye coordination, speed physicality, its a flowing sport thats not played play by play where the coach can interfere all 30 minutes
Waterpolo, baseball, hockey, rugby, football, boxing, with probably boxing and waterpolo being one and 2
I didn’t even bother with the list, was focused on molly the whole time 😍
Molly just gave me ptsd from Vickie Guerrero “EXCUSE ME”
You cant convince me football is harder to play than ice hockey
Mad Dog be Wilding with his takes especially this one😂😂😂

“look at me, I need attention” 🤯🫨
Sometimes I wonder why Molly is even there. She might as well be talking to herself.
But with all my biases, my top 3 most difficult are:
- Gymnastics
- Soccer
- Wrestling
Soccer and hockey should be on the list
The way Molly is on this show needs to be a training video for all moderators on "How Not To Act as a moderator" 😂😂😂😂
1: Underwater rugby
2: Ironman Triathlon
3: Canoe Polo (it is in a kayak)
If we define 'hard' by: skill, coordination, strength, physical endurance, and overall competitiveness :
1. Basketball
2. Tennis
3. Boxing
4. Swimming
5. Soccer
How is soccer not harder than basketball
@@tobialexander1346 my own personal opinion... of course this debate is anyways silly and very subjective. But for me the phisicality in basketball is significantly bigger (although the gap is shortening in the past 10-15 yrs)
Funny how the most physical sports that can kill or severely damage you for life is either not on this list or rated at #5 💀
I would like to see their top 5 hardest sports PHYSICALLY. I think tennis would still be top 5 but you've got to bring in boxing/MMA for that ranking
1. Boxing/mma
2. Football rugby
3. Gymnastics
4. Tennis
5. Cycling
If he replaced curling with Hockey and moved tennis to the bottom, I really wouldn’t have too much of a problem with the list. Maybe replace Tennis with MMA or Football (soccer) and it’d be a pretty solid list.
Non biased opinion (fav sports are basketball and soccer), hockey and combat sports imo are on their own level of difficulty
Yes but baseball requires the highest level of skill out of any of these sports and I played them all.
I would say average person would be more likely to land a punch than get a hit off a mlb pitcher
How does Molly not know what Curling is?
Tennis I think is the most difficult sport. So many sets if the skills are leveled. Boxing is tough. I think gymnastics is ridiculously difficult as well.
I did cross country running in high school and it actually felt like torture. I don't think anything comes ahead of that
1. Boxing/ MMA
2. Tennis
3. Hockey
4. Soccer
5. Football
Boxing/MMA/fighting sports is the hardest sport…… it is physically and mentally taxing….. #2 gymnastics #3 Tri-athalon’s #4 football #5 baseball is hard because hitting a baseball coming at 90mph is extremely really difficult
HOCKEY!!! How did it not even get an honorable mention? Similar physicality to football and similar skill required as basketball but you are on ice! The vast majority of people can’t skate we’ll enough to even be a bad hockey player much less a decent one
