@@Central_Coast_Aviation I am pretty lucky! Not so lucky about the DC-10 thing though, I was pretty sad about that. I saw one of the superscoopers land.
If you look closely, you'll see that they all have N-numbers on the rear of the fuselage below the tail, meaning that they are civilian! Tactical Air is a defense contractor.
There is a trend toward adversary jets being operated by civilian contractors with ex-military pilots. Other planes include or have included civilian F-16's and A-4's. I think even former Israeli Kfirs at one point.

I would’ve expected them to land down the street at Vandenberg
