I buy some pretty nice cars from a local tow yard auction that are clean title and run & drive perfectly and they told me a lot of cars are people that get in trouble in car and go to jail. Then fees pile up and they file to take possession of car after like 30 days and auction them off. I always tell people to check out Autura Markeplace and see if there's any near them. Bought a 2013 Audi A7 with minimal scratches & dents that needed a new ECU and Body Control module since someone swiped them. Runs perfectly now with 86k miles and got it for $3,400. Also, found a 2009 Chevy Cobalt for my father-in law. Bought for less that 1k with fees and needed to be cleaned and clear coat has failed on a few panels. Other than that, it runs and drives JUST fine.
It's not like this new or used car dealership, we all know (or at least we should know) what we are possibly getting into when dealing with Copart. You gotta do your own due diligence when you're looking into possibly buying a car from this place or any other place like this. Sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you don't but a "scam"? idk about that.
General question re Sales Tax on a Copart Salvage Car... I know from previous experience buying from other local dealers (who also buy from Coparts) the local place does NOT charge me a State Sales Tax... I just incur that when I go convert that Salvage Title in A Rebuilt/Reconstructed Title... So bottom line, if I were to buy a salvage car through Copart either on my own (if poss) or if by going through a broker, I will also incur the Sales Tax on Copart Salvage Car??? And then another Local State Sales Tax at the end upon trying to get the Rebuilt Title (i.e. Double Dip on Taxes???)
I bought a F150 last month from an auction in Pennsylvania. I lived in Florida so couldn't get there to check it. They Didn't inform on the description and not even pictures that the car is completely taken over by corrosion underneath and inside the frame. Is there something that is possibly to do about it? Thanks.

So I want to get into bidding on my first copart rebuild! I just want to know how can you tell when a car is coming from insurance or a private owner? Just want to make sure im doing as much research as possible before bidding!
Does anyone know what I need to buy cars at at auction So I can sell them as is bought to companies that buy salvage cars as is Not to fix and flip type of license I live in California
So . How is copart a scam. Copart simply does a minimal inspection an post the cars for sale. In order for copart to be a scam they would have to knowingly cover the damage up an then sell. They dont do that ?
I have bought several vehicles at Copart. I always go see in person. I always figure worse case scenario. Never go by pictures. Remember it is a salvage pool auction. Copart is only the company selling the vehicle.
They don't just scam YOU, they scam original owners too. Cash for Cars/Copart offered me only $633 for my drivable 2007 Carolla 5 speed with new clutch, new tires. "Agent" lied, saying "I'll be lucky to get $700 for it!" Wanted me to e-sign title release. I went on Marketplace with photos and did my own auction. Sold for $1,500 and fellow taped it up, put in new battery and drove off excited! So screw you Copart. I got more than my insurance would have.
Google vin before you bid. Go to BIDFAX.INFO and enter IAAI or COPART lot # to see what it sold for. I am surprised they let you in there because you could disable vehicle from starting and then the car sells for less on auction day.
Today I won an auctions for a Jeep Wrangler at 13,600 and I’m getting up charged more than 4,000 in fees I’m going to have to relist that’s way to much in just fees
Anytime someone puts runs and drives and it doesnt when customer recieves it should be lawsuit for lying. Yea you can put as is but if the other details dont add up and only way to bid is online then that should be illegal. No different than commercials saying this or that and its not true
Copart is crap. Lots of shady stuff is sold threw them. We don’t buy after getting screwed twice threw them. Now only go threw IAA and always great service never an issue. Great video Deuces ✌🏻
How is it a scam car if people buy the car fix it just so it look ok from the outside and put it back for auction, if you dont do your research on the car then that's on you ...
Yo man, you're telling thigs we all already know. We know that some cars are in bad condition and we're all prepared when bidding in copart and iaai. Thing is that in some countries it is way too cheap to rebuild some of these cars and it's a deal to buy one from the US and import it in your country.
I get so PISSED off when people put up Copart Scam videos. In the video he says someone/dealer did this and that. It was a dealer NOT Copart. This guy buys from Copart, so if there is such scam why does he buy from them. I have been a dealer for 18 years have been buying 95% of my inventory from Copart over the last 10 years, and I make a good living doing it. My advice don't buy salvage cars, they worth 25% less do to salvage. If you do by salvage be prepared to get what you get. If you don't have skill, money, or shop to fix it DON'T buy it. Paying to get the work done will not be worth it. Plus turn around time on your money is going to be much longer after state inspections and repairs. There plenty of clean title, fleet, charity and rental vehicles to choose from. Do your homework, go inspect, buy one of Coparts reports for $35.00, run a car fax that will tell allot. In some cases you can get approximate miles on the non running, no mileage units from carfax reports. Evaluate the numbers make sure the deal works, and be a car dealer not a car gambler. It takes allot of careful searching to find the gems but it very doable. And yes they should kick you out !!
Only a fool would buy any vehicle without personally inspecting it. These are salvage auctions. The insurance vehicles there are there because the cost to repair them exceeds the value of the vehicle. It used to be only salvage yards bought these pigs to strip off the good parts and crush the rest. just remember insurance companies are not in business to lose money. If it were worth repairing they would have done it themselves. REMEMBER These auction places are just a clearing house for the insurance companies.
Most of the people who buy these cars dont inspect them a lot of them are in different countries and other states and they can write off a car just for the hell of it sometimes the owner dont want the car and they write it off sometimes the body shop greedy and charging too much and they do lose money on some cars thats facts they make enough of policyholders
Keep doing videos , and tell people not to buy unless it is sold by insurance companies, these sorry bastards that rig these cars and try and screw people need to be kept out of copart, and out of the car business. These are the kind of people that give dealers bad names. Expose the hell out of them , and run them out of business!!!!!!

So, did you get the Genesis?
I bought a F150 last month from an auction in Pennsylvania. I lived in Florida so couldn't get there to check it. They Didn't inform on the description and not even pictures that the car is completely taken over by corrosion underneath and inside the frame.
Is there something that is possibly to do about it?
Thanks.
Random weapon, Oooo a iPhone charger!!! LOL Seems like the owner didn’t get a chance to retrieve his belongings from the vehicle before it was towed.
Probably fainted in the crash or the car was crashed in a parking lot.
Nice video. My guess is that The infiniti has a check engine light because the impact happened on the side where we have the electric unit and fuses in the engine bay.
How you forget your weapon in the glovebox 🤦🏾♂️
So I want to get into bidding on my first copart rebuild! I just want to know how can you tell when a car is coming from insurance or a private owner? Just want to make sure im doing as much research as possible before bidding!
And take the panels off and straighten them up a bit put them back on and make it look nice but in reality it needs a total rebuild
Does anyone know what I need to buy cars at at auction
So I can sell them as is bought to companies that buy salvage cars as is
Not to fix and flip type of license
I live in California
This dude is way better then randy doing his walk arounds lol
With TK turn randy channel into a joke. Who needs randy rubbing TK in your face
CoPart went to hell when the started selling to anyone....
"Random weapon in there. Oh a charger!"
Hyundai, HGV trailer damage perhaps from the overhang on turning?
So . How is copart a scam. Copart simply does a minimal inspection an post the cars for sale. In order for copart to be a scam they would have to knowingly cover the damage up an then sell. They dont do that ?
You sound like a copart employee trolling this video.the thieves own this land the slaves just live on it
You on that shit chucky, lmao
Really you can’t tell me they never figure it out
More reaction from finding a phone charger than the handgun in the glovebox...yup that definitely Florida.
Can they legally sell them with a clean title and cover up the frame damage
I dont think so
LOL @ "Random weapon in the glove box" - ROFL
the response to the gun is priceless
Wtf is a 'Honday'?
A manufacturer from same group as Teiota, Mitsibushi, Nison..
It maybe a scam or it's literally the real thing, good luck on what ever you do. 👍👊👌
I have bought several vehicles at Copart. I always go see in person. I always figure worse case scenario. Never go by pictures. Remember it is a salvage pool auction. Copart is only the company selling the vehicle.
How did you find the history & pictures for that first “scam” car that was resold so quickly by Copart?
he probaly just looked up the vin....a quick google search.
We need Volvo truck update
their prices are insane lately,
They don't just scam YOU, they scam original owners too.
You didn't say that COPART was a scam you said some people that put cars up for auction are scammers.
WELL DID YOU GET KICKED OUT?
Google vin before you bid. Go to BIDFAX.INFO and enter IAAI or COPART lot # to see what it sold for. I am surprised they let you in there because you could disable vehicle from starting and then the car sells for less on auction day.
What about Volvo Vnl
I have fun looking out of those car and learn something. :)
Great video!! And guys it’s his gun he’s done that on several videos!!😂
Scarface 39
Right!
Anyone with a brain should’ve known that. Unless your a trump supporter

Dave J man you sure are triggered over something!! Chill🇺🇸
2 years later this Lexus is for sale on the website
So did you get any of them? ... What prices...
Today I won an auctions for a Jeep Wrangler at 13,600 and I’m getting up charged more than 4,000 in fees I’m going to have to relist that’s way to much in just fees
dont get in a bidding war with a foreign bidder.
Ya who are those foreign bidders?
Wpt did you end up getting?
Anytime someone puts runs and drives and it doesnt when customer recieves it should be lawsuit for lying. Yea you can put as is but if the other details dont add up and only way to bid is online then that should be illegal. No different than commercials saying this or that and its not true
Opens glove box *shuts quickly* YEAH, WE SAW 😂
Saw wat
Always use a scanner, far cheaper
Copart is crap. Lots of shady stuff is sold threw them. We don’t buy after getting screwed twice threw them. Now only go threw IAA and always great service never an issue. Great video Deuces ✌🏻
Lubnow *through
It's through not "threw."
Rusty... You know that was your piece in the glove box! :-)
RODZILLA I do not conduct them types of activities lol
Hello frend
The cars are expensive in the US because there is a corporation that sells cars who fix the price of used cars
Happens all the time with the Grand Cherokee and 4runner, scammers they do a little make up and posted again in copart
Hello Fred sport
I literally just saw a 2nd gen ctsv with a bid of $5,700 but the picture of the engine clearly wasn’t a supercharged 6.2 l. It more looked like a gen 3 Chevy truck motor yikes
first problem is you are looking at a hyndia and your starting cars without checking oil first
Yo ma dude, the way you say it hondaiii😂😂
What's the proper way to say it? Hyoon-die?

@@علياكرممدرساللغهالانكليزيه I am sorry you have to live in times like this, i to have been there and choose to have nothing that way i don't feel like something is owed to me !!!
There wasn't a gun he says that all the time.
Dude, you are shopping for cars in a junkyard with smashed cars and you are complaining that it is a scam. Are you serious??????
They should be left as is then and not cosmetically enhanced so the internet buyers bite the bullet….it’s a deceptive practice aka scam
Was the seller on this an insurance company?
where I am at they will not even let you into the yard. they bring it to the gate. they sell wrecks to car lots that it. the junkers are what they sell the general public. just what is a salvage title?
Copart is a Scam!!!
I bought two cars with Run and Drive Condition, One has a hole inside the engine and the second was frozen.
I keep looking for one thats newer but really fucked up looking so people wont wanna mess with it. I see a lot of cars that appear to not have much damage and yet they are totaled. I was thinking flood vehicles till I seen this video, now im thinking that and this. Im not lookin for something thats not fucked up im lookin for something that is fucked up on the cheap
PHOENIX COPART so i visited copart to go look at a car in the phoenix area wow what shitty service i receiver i was treated very badly by the people that work there i waited over an hour to look at a car and got tired of waiting and left ID AVOID THIS PLACE OR THE PHOENIX ARIZONA LOCATION
