This is called life, i bet you can get more frequently scammed on the pre-owned market than on copart, as you keep buying and rebuilding cars you start to get more experience on the damages, the repair costs, the amount of work it will need, and how much you should bid on a certain vehicle, i have bought 5 different cars from copart all sight unseen and i have done wonderful, but you need to do a lot of research and have the will to work on cars to get the best deal possible, the most important advice i can give is that you should always bid according to the worst case scenario the vehicle could have (bad engine, bad transmission, bad frame, all this depending on the scenario), this way its impossible to take a loss cause you already calculated the worst that could happen, it's really easy, if you're interested in giving copart a try just do your first bidding on a cheap car so you familiarize with the process of buying a car, and if you do wrong you could move on without any worries ( even if you lose a couple hundreds the knowledge and the experience you get is way more valuable, hope this helps someone!
If you buy a car on the internet, without inspecting it... you have to factor in the risk of a scam or unseen problems when you make your bid. I have bought several vehicles at Copart. I always go see in person. I always figure worse case scenario. Never go by pictures. Remember it is a salvage pool auction. Copart is only the company selling the vehicle.
General question re Sales Tax on a Copart Salvage Car... I know from previous experience buying from other local dealers (who also buy from Coparts) the local place does NOT charge me a State Sales Tax... I just incur that when I go convert that Salvage Title in A Rebuilt/Reconstructed Title... So bottom line, if I were to buy a salvage car through Copart either on my own (if poss) or if by going through a broker, I will also incur the Sales Tax on Copart Salvage Car??? And then another Local State Sales Tax at the end upon trying to get the Rebuilt Title (i.e. Double Dip on Taxes???)
So I want to get into bidding on my first copart rebuild! I just want to know how can you tell when a car is coming from insurance or a private owner? Just want to make sure im doing as much research as possible before bidding!
Copart is crap. Lots of shady stuff is sold threw them. We don’t buy after getting screwed twice threw them. Now only go threw IAA and always great service never an issue. Great video Deuces ✌🏻
I bought a F150 last month from an auction in Pennsylvania. I lived in Florida so couldn't get there to check it. They Didn't inform on the description and not even pictures that the car is completely taken over by corrosion underneath and inside the frame. Is there something that is possibly to do about it? Thanks.
Keep doing videos , and tell people not to buy unless it is sold by insurance companies, these sorry bastards that rig these cars and try and screw people need to be kept out of copart, and out of the car business. These are the kind of people that give dealers bad names. Expose the hell out of them , and run them out of business!!!!!!
I get so PISSED off when people put up Copart Scam videos. In the video he says someone/dealer did this and that. It was a dealer NOT Copart. This guy buys from Copart, so if there is such scam why does he buy from them. I have been a dealer for 18 years have been buying 95% of my inventory from Copart over the last 10 years, and I make a good living doing it. My advice don't buy salvage cars, they worth 25% less do to salvage. If you do by salvage be prepared to get what you get. If you don't have skill, money, or shop to fix it DON'T buy it. Paying to get the work done will not be worth it. Plus turn around time on your money is going to be much longer after state inspections and repairs. There plenty of clean title, fleet, charity and rental vehicles to choose from. Do your homework, go inspect, buy one of Coparts reports for $35.00, run a car fax that will tell allot. In some cases you can get approximate miles on the non running, no mileage units from carfax reports. Evaluate the numbers make sure the deal works, and be a car dealer not a car gambler. It takes allot of careful searching to find the gems but it very doable. And yes they should kick you out !!
the reasonable good cars go for more than they are worth and the others are a pile of crap good for parts only! we have Adesa here in Salt Lake city they have some reasonable deals on exotics at times but very risky most of the time it's not worth buying a salvaged title when you can buy a perfect example for not much more! cheers from Salt Lake City
They don't just scam YOU, they scam original owners too. Cash for Cars/Copart offered me only $633 for my drivable 2007 Carolla 5 speed with new clutch, new tires. "Agent" lied, saying "I'll be lucky to get $700 for it!" Wanted me to e-sign title release. I went on Marketplace with photos and did my own auction. Sold for $1,500 and fellow taped it up, put in new battery and drove off excited! So screw you Copart. I got more than my insurance would have.
Semi-auto in glovebox..........."random weapon in there." Glanced over that one quickly.........owner must have made a fast exit and is probably just now remembering. If you wonder about Copart being a scam, just read Yelp reviews about local lots or read local BBB reviews/complaints. Not a picture of an honest business. Add to that the transports and brokers they recommend.
I've bought 2 cars from them last year, first one won for $1050, ended up costing me $1550 after fees, 2nd one won bid for $1650 and ended up being $2450....still not a bad deal but just know the higher bid goes, the more their fees are.
COPART = Cars ONLY for Parts ' Don't go there looking to get something to flip. The odds are against you. If you need a bunch of parts (engine, transmission, wheels, etc.) then it might be for you. If you win the auction and then you get an email/call about not meeting a reserve - just walk away. My two cents.
you have a verry chill youtube channele i like that also i hit the like button befor i watch the wole video because i know it is going to be intresting
Yo man, you're telling thigs we all already know. We know that some cars are in bad condition and we're all prepared when bidding in copart and iaai. Thing is that in some countries it is way too cheap to rebuild some of these cars and it's a deal to buy one from the US and import it in your country.
I literally just saw a 2nd gen ctsv with a bid of $5,700 but the picture of the engine clearly wasn’t a supercharged 6.2 l. It more looked like a gen 3 Chevy truck motor yikes
Anytime someone puts runs and drives and it doesnt when customer recieves it should be lawsuit for lying. Yea you can put as is but if the other details dont add up and only way to bid is online then that should be illegal. No different than commercials saying this or that and its not true
Today I won an auctions for a Jeep Wrangler at 13,600 and I’m getting up charged more than 4,000 in fees I’m going to have to relist that’s way to much in just fees
So . How is copart a scam. Copart simply does a minimal inspection an post the cars for sale. In order for copart to be a scam they would have to knowingly cover the damage up an then sell. They dont do that ?
Does anyone know what I need to buy cars at at auction So I can sell them as is bought to companies that buy salvage cars as is Not to fix and flip type of license I live in California
Only a fool would buy any vehicle without personally inspecting it. These are salvage auctions. The insurance vehicles there are there because the cost to repair them exceeds the value of the vehicle. It used to be only salvage yards bought these pigs to strip off the good parts and crush the rest. just remember insurance companies are not in business to lose money. If it were worth repairing they would have done it themselves. REMEMBER These auction places are just a clearing house for the insurance companies.
Most of the people who buy these cars dont inspect them a lot of them are in different countries and other states and they can write off a car just for the hell of it sometimes the owner dont want the car and they write it off sometimes the body shop greedy and charging too much and they do lose money on some cars thats facts they make enough of policyholders

@@teatimetel174 I doubt that. People from all over the world bid on these cars and when somebody puts in their minimum bid when you bid it automatically goes up.
If you don't know how online auctions work, please research it.
A company like Copart would be stupid to do anything like you are suggesting. They could lose their whole business if it ever got out, plus they don't need to.
@@mexicanspec its happened to me i had max bid on and at 11am i was still highest bidder but when it was due to come up for live auction it jumped up even though i was the highest bidder when proxy bidding ended at 11am
@@mexicanspec its not illegal even for physical auctions to bid cars uo on the rostrum
Title is a little bit click bait "Speaking TRUTH Got Me KICKED OUT" din't actually get kicked out in the video. No need to click bait us man, we like watching anyways......
CoPart went to hell when the started selling to anyone....
Double Dip on Taxes???)
the response to the gun is priceless
How you forget your weapon in the glovebox 🤦🏾♂️
So I want to get into bidding on my first copart rebuild! I just want to know how can you tell when a car is coming from insurance or a private owner? Just want to make sure im doing as much research as possible before bidding!
Copart is crap. Lots of shady stuff is sold threw them. We don’t buy after getting screwed twice threw them. Now only go threw IAA and always great service never an issue. Great video Deuces ✌🏻
Lubnow *through
It's through not "threw."
So, did you get the Genesis?
I have fun looking out of those car and learn something. :)
Hyundai, HGV trailer damage perhaps from the overhang on turning?
More reaction from finding a phone charger than the handgun in the glovebox...yup that definitely Florida.
LOL @ "Random weapon in the glove box" - ROFL
I bought a F150 last month from an auction in Pennsylvania. I lived in Florida so couldn't get there to check it. They Didn't inform on the description and not even pictures that the car is completely taken over by corrosion underneath and inside the frame.
Is there something that is possibly to do about it?
Thanks.
The cars are expensive in the US because there is a corporation that sells cars who fix the price of used cars
I enjoyed the video Wow that is Solid. infomation.
first problem is you are looking at a hyndia and your starting cars without checking oil first
It maybe a scam or it's literally the real thing, good luck on what ever you do. 👍👊👌
Opens glove box *shuts quickly* YEAH, WE SAW 😂
Saw wat
Can they legally sell them with a clean title and cover up the frame damage
I dont think so
We need Volvo truck update
This dude is way better then randy doing his walk arounds lol
With TK turn randy channel into a joke. Who needs randy rubbing TK in your face
their prices are insane lately,
I like how you show the Negative too
They don't just scam YOU, they scam original owners too.
Are your cars still working?
Still have the higher priced one and drive it daiily, first one I sold within 3 months
COPART = Cars ONLY for Parts
'
Don't go there looking to get something to flip. The odds are against you. If you need a bunch of parts (engine, transmission, wheels, etc.) then it might be for you. If you win the auction and then you get an email/call about not meeting a reserve - just walk away. My two cents.
Hey love your vids actully have watched for a couple years now keep it up.
Always use a scanner, far cheaper
Great video!! And guys it’s his gun he’s done that on several videos!!😂
Scarface 39
Right!
Anyone with a brain should’ve known that. Unless your a trump supporter
Dave J Trump 2020!!!
Scarface 39 In your dream. I notice your just about as popular as him. Lol.
Dave J man you sure are triggered over something!! Chill🇺🇸
you have a verry chill youtube channele i like that also i hit the like button befor i watch the wole video because i know it is going to be intresting
Yo man, you're telling thigs we all already know. We know that some cars are in bad condition and we're all prepared when bidding in copart and iaai. Thing is that in some countries it is way too cheap to rebuild some of these cars and it's a deal to buy one from the US and import it in your country.
What about Volvo Vnl
Rusty... You know that was your piece in the glove box! :-)
RODZILLA I do not conduct them types of activities lol
Hello frend
WELL DID YOU GET KICKED OUT?
What's a good broker to use. You recommend I'm in California
Bro this is tough to watch. These are horrible scammer scumbags
There wasn't a gun he says that all the time.
You didn't say that COPART was a scam you said some people that put cars up for auction are scammers.
Damn Jesus that poor Lexus LS460. I own an immaculate one of those they are beautiful
I literally just saw a 2nd gen ctsv with a bid of $5,700 but the picture of the engine clearly wasn’t a supercharged 6.2 l. It more looked like a gen 3 Chevy truck motor yikes
Hahaha. My boi out here with using props for emphasis. That was classic .
So did you get any of them? ... What prices...
Yo ma dude, the way you say it hondaiii😂😂
What's the proper way to say it? Hyoon-die?
Happens all the time with the Grand Cherokee and 4runner, scammers they do a little make up and posted again in copart
Hello Fred sport
Very informative video. I have a friend who buys and repairs and then sell cars from Copart. Watch when I show him your video.👍🏾
Wpt did you end up getting?
You sound like a copart employee trolling this video.the thieves own this land the slaves just live on it
You on that shit chucky, lmao
Really you can’t tell me they never figure it out
2 years later this Lexus is for sale on the website
Does anyone know what I need to buy cars at at auction
So I can sell them as is bought to companies that buy salvage cars as is
Not to fix and flip type of license
I live in California
How did you find the history & pictures for that first “scam” car that was resold so quickly by Copart?
he probaly just looked up the vin....a quick google search.
I like that Police Charger
It’s not a scam it’s a business. Someone bought it did minors repair and put it back in the auction .
