I love your videos, I'm a beginner and they are so helpful. I would love to learn to make a dogwood blossom for an Easter cake if you haven't already do one of course.
Hy Beth, I am learning all of the idea of baking and decorating thru youtube. Could you please tell me the how making the frosting? And does it have to store in freezer? So if I sell this kind if cake with the decoration, it can not resist in room temperature?. Thank you so much ❤❤
Your tutorial video is awesome that trickles my icing nerves back to work.. Anyway' will you let me know where can i order the tips and do you deliver worldwide? How do I place my order of the icing tips?
I would LOVE A LILAC TUTORIAL. My mom's birthday is coming up and our favorite flower is the lilac... so of course I want to put that on our mothers day cake.
Hi I love to bake and decorate cakes. I would like to practice these at home but my mom doesn't want cakes or frosting around her kitchen all the time. Is there another item not edible that is good to practice with. (my mom eats butter cream icing by its self that's why I cant practice with it.)
Can you re-freeze the cupcake after decorating, and if so how long can they stay frozen and still be good to eat once out of the freezer. I need to make about 200 for an event and wonder how far ahead I can make them
I always ice with Swiss or Italian Meringue Buttercream...can I use the Wilton type icing for my flowers to decorate on that type of icing. I know Royal Icing will melt...found that out the hard way when I was first starting out. Piped about 48 carrots and were melted the next morning.....lol
Colleen Charles royal icing flowers are what they call make ahead flowers. Grease will break down the icing and yes they will melt off. if you make them on parchment or wax paper and give your flowers or decorations a day or two to dry or set up, they'll last and won't melt off.
How about a hydrangea? Love your videos. never mind I looked through the Wilton videos and I saw the one you made already and I had liked it already. lol go figure
Hello thank you for sharing your tips Can you help me plz how stiff butter cream should be I love 🌹 to make but never come correct plz help me thank you in advance 😊
Hi! You can try our buttercream frosting recipe which has a stiff consistency and is ideal for piping decorations like flowers. Here's a link to our video: th-cam.com/video/EWEhHhcnwYQ/w-d-xo.html
Walloping Teaspoon with Beth Somers Ahhhhh u did so well on the show! ^-^ I was so sad when they took the show off netflix because then I wouldn't be able to keep re-watching your episode ^~^

Very helpful and pretty but I dont understand why you always say to use medium consistency icing. I've never used heavy/thick consistency nor loose consistency to pipe with. Am I missing something?
I just love her smile, it was like "gosh, why am I teaching this supereasy stuff, theyre never gonna get a flower like this, anyway" :'( :'( sad but still love it
bluegreen You're welcome. I prefer the same Wilton bags she uses in the video and the metal tips. The cost of the disposable bags is worth it rather than the hassle of the messy clean up. I've tried plastic tips and they don't stand up to the frosting the way the metal tips do. I hope that helps- happy decorating!! 😊
hi Wilton this is awesome mabye you could do a bucay of flowers any actualy into a cake or cupcake anything actually this is just a idea hope I could help 😊

Question: Won't the tip work its way out without a coupler?
as long as it's in not too far from the end of the tip ( about half way or so), it should stay just fine. 😊
Sarah Parker Thank you. Do you know if the cone material matters? Do you have a favorite or preference?
