As a fellow artist this was SO good to see, in a sea of perfect instagram artists. I know that might sound hypocritical because I too play the insta game - but therefore it's so nice to see this raw side of creating. I know I want to let that out more
I love the camcorder vibe of this behind the scenes I try to do this on my channel but Ive changed over to regular cameras and more so about traveling and day to day life. But this is inspirational so thank you for posting this!
this kind of thinking about painting is so old already. even before kippenberger. it's narcissistic. and what a poser. i know someone who does work like this but i like my friends work better. his name's jayson oliveria. but same jokes about the art world too. all smells like saying "im smarter than the art world". so who is taking painting seriously then?
Sorry .. but it’s just a bare mimicry.. question yourself and you would not self express yourself like that because of art. Don’t question yourself and you will do and think that what you see here. No hype included.
That’s why people from not art world (also) find artists annoying because these types of artists pop into their minds and I can’t blame them.. it’s inflationary what is embodied here and I do t think that this is content that should be spread that unconscious.. it’s made like a documentary of a big artist that really has to tell about profound lifeforces instead of some clishe chic fashion.. And then the girlfriend that brings the guy who is not aware of what he embodies flowers - the girl who is not the artist. Come on. I feel ashamed and would like to point with my finger on: that’s why art is not for everyone. But design is. Please be careful with the labels you give yourself. It’s not an accessory it is a burden.
