It's absurd that this trim level doesn't come with standard LED DRLs and headlights, especially considering the GMC counterparts do.
I can understand it on a work truck. But the new LS which is now the Custom and the LT have been down graded. My 2007 Chevy Suburban 4x4 had leather seats, everything thing was automatic top of the line. Ford and Dodge way out performs on the packages.
Let me ask you this. I'm always concerned about blinding others. Do you get people coming at you flashing their high beams at you because the LEDs are blinding them? I really want to buy these but don't want to be blinding others coming at me.
I haven’t had that problem with this truck. My last truck I did with stock lights. I just adjusted the beam lower. So if you are towing you may have to adjust the beam down. I have not had anyone flash at me with the new LED.
@@OverTheHillAdventures Thank you so much sir!!!
Get flashed every day! I’m going to adjust them down to see if that works better due to truck being higher.
@@truckinSC It will absolutely help. I lowered mine, I hated blinding anyone.
I’m so disappointed in headlight revolution they have sent me over 3 pairs of lights for my truck that will not work really sucks because they are expensive so I am going to be switching to this brand. I thought lasfit was not as good but what I have does not work.
Rick James, they have been working great it my truck. Especially when I put the high berms on. Use our link in the description and our discount code, OTHA15 for 15% discount.
Changing bulbs on the GMT T1XX looks easy. I see that whoever did the headlights on the previous two generations (GMT900 and GMT K2XX) has died and gone straight to hell.
Hello William, I had those earlier generation truck and never changed the headlights. I must agree with you. The new generation is tight but simple. Thank you for watching! It’s been a couple years now and the LEDs are still going strong! Stan
OMG! I’m so embarrassed by these Halogens on my truck. Just can’t believe that Chevy skimps on the lights. Should be standard.
In any event, thanks for doing this video, just purchased these lights with your code OTHA15. Saved $53 bucks for the combo pack! Much appreciated!
Exactly! We don’t get it either. So glad you were able to get the lights and use the discount code. The lights definitely make a huge difference. Thanks for reaching out and for your encouraging comment. Stan
Come to Jersey you will run into a bear...
Hi Jay, my hope is that I don’t run into any animals. That is exactly why I put in LED lights. When I was a deputy sheriff I ran into a lot of bears 🐻 too. Thanks for watching. Stan
they were a pain to put in
Did you get them in right?
I bet they look good though!
🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩👍👍👍👍💞💞💞💞💞
Thank you for watching! Stan and Rhonda
