    Isso foi uma ótima experiência! Não desistas já desse turbo. Utiliza-o como turbo "principal" num sistema biturbo.

    Need that thing pop n bangs when u let throttle so it can keep boost up because even with flatshift boost is going down. :(

    Mais vale em vez de shot, teres o nitro a disparar automaticamente a partir de certa rotação, só o facto se o fazeres através da tua reação e não ser um PC perdes algum tempo, but it s all about details when comes to drag time right? Boa sorte para os próximos 👍🏻

    Turbos wastegate em diesel dessas dimensões é lag e mais lag, seria bom para usar em sistema biturbo. Eu apostava num gt3063klv com uma compressora 71 (gt3071klv) ou um Garrett GT3571V

    Se nao houver maneira de por o turbo a encher pelo menos 1000 rotações mais cedo, o que me parece difícil, tens de por esse motor a fazer pelo menos 6500 rpm para dar saída a esse lag.

      Um JTD faz fácil 7000 rpm's! Ahahahahah
      Nada contra o TDI, apenas tenho pena dos portugueses não investirem um pouco mais no JTD. Sao motores muito diferentes lá no fundo, ambos aguentam muita potência e porrada, TDI dá um pontapé no cu a JTD em drag, mas quando se trata de projetos diferentes a diesel para track days ou até mesmo rampas, os JTD's dão um senhor pontapé no cu aos tdi's muito mais fáceis de equilibrar a potência para melhor linearidade, estabilidade e grip.

    You need better vgt control or absolutely no point messing with this holset. The dimensions of the compressor and turbine wheels are similar to s356v, not massive like physical dimensions of the 29cm turbine housing suggests.

      @@HelderPutoPerformance the holset vgt is a lot stiffer than Borg as you will have noticed. The original electronic controller that comes with holset is a massive brushless unit that has several gears to multiply torque. It is a beast! Most of them are 24v and canbus unfortunately, very tricky to integrate with ECU without using Arduino style controller.
      The typical Hella electronic controllers used on smaller Garrett turbos is not strong enough in my opinion. Either will struggle to move mechanism at all or will prematurely wear out the plastic worm gear within. You will need to come up with way multiply the torque, maybe different length levers. Also can use different worm gear ratio to multiply force.
      My 3.0d is daily, so I put my holset he431 on shelf and used s360v instead to keep reliable. For your crazy drag car, I think it is definitely worth a try! You simply cannot beat the emp:boost ratio from a turbo this size. The hybrids are shit! Worst case scenario, fit compound 😎👌

      @@n0v0s Compressor inducers are 56mm on both but turbine exd is 67mm on hy40 and 62mm on s356
      That is not small difference and better for emp/imp ratio

      Holset trim would in theory make it more favourable for slightly improved spool and higher PR than its s356v competitor. I actually prefer the Holset design. 360deg thrust bearing stock. But "only" 7mm shaft. Still, very strong turbo. And also MFS comp wheel. Can't complain 👌

    Esse turbo e pra motores a gasolina que fazem mais rotação pra ele encher , num diesel com a rotação e mais baixa, nunca irás conseguir encher o turbo todo e quase nenhuma mudança , mas mesmo assim parabéns só a tentar é que se vê se aprova bem ou não 👍

    S356v bem afinado e é bem melhor que o Holset, pois é um turbo mais recente e com um compressor mais indicado para estes motores. O HY40v tem um compressor grande demais. Vai ter sempre um lag exagerado.

    i had same issue loosing boost between gears 2265 skilla turbo, could it be from small diameter vacum line n75 to turbo? it boosted ok then just lost between gears vacuum line was 3mm

    Acho um turbo muito grande mas para tentar "acordar o turbo devias ter um shot mais cedo e outro assim que comece a fazer pressão, deve ajudar um pouco ao lag do turbo ser muito grande, mas também acho o 28 melhor para drag
