I was thinking of de-lip/bowl cut my pistons on my Ford Powerstroke this same way. Rather then buy new pistons This is first time I've seen some one do it. Its technically same as porting a head chamber on a gasser. Help improve swirl for better atomization and lower compression will also allow me to pull more timing
Hi, thanks for showing your way to do it, any idea on how much you dropped the compression ratio ? What was the original diameter of the bowl and after job done ? Thanks
original diameter is 38mm, depending on the cavity volume we can calculate the new volume il we know ne new cavity's diameter and the current depth of the opening. what is the engine code are you working on?
But you can measure it, with a syringe and water. Any ways (the way i get this) you kill two birds from one shot, as you increase cc volume, thus lower compression ratio for more boost, and allow the piston to "catch" all the spray, so no piston melting as helder mention it at the beginning.
@@HelderPutoPerformance great thank you for your reply. I have a new 1856 turbo and pd150 head bolts to go on so thought I may as well do it while I’m there 👍😎
I really enjoy your videos, you are Easy to understand and very knowledgeable and experienced keep the videos coming! Best Regards , Bo Mason (Mississippi, USA)
Thank you for taking your time to share your knowledge with us. Your ENGLISH is actually quite good and easy to understand. 👍
Thank you 🙏
I did this on my daily driver.
Put 20,000 miles in one year.
No smoke
Amazing mpg
Great torque
Did you have to get your map altered at all to help with cold starts?
That called old school hot rodding way to go 👍 and thank you for sharing
Thanks
Well explained!
Thanks for sharing it!
Thanks for watching and for the comment 😉
just for sharing this kind of thing, i respect you sir, great job! keep it up!
Thanks

Awesome video. 👌 greetings from Canada 🇨🇦
Thanks for watching 😉
Very good job and helpful videos 👍👍👍
Great video. What grid sand paper are you using?
Buenas helder podrias decir que fresa y que lija usastes?
Me ayudan muchos tus videos
Very interesting 👌 English is perfect 👍
What's the tool called that you used to bore out the compression hole on the cylinder
Thanks for making this video, don’t worry your English is absolutely fine 100%, keep it up.
I’m about to do this to my ALH you think I will see similar gains or should I not do this to ALH pistons for some reason?
hello, have you reached your goal exactly? I'm pressing nitro on my vehicle and should I do this to make it better?
On my car make faster
Hi, thanks for showing your way to do it, any idea on how much you dropped the compression ratio ? What was the original diameter of the bowl and after job done ? Thanks
I don't know never tested

How did this affect the car any downsides ? Currently doing my head gasket (pd130) and considering doing this is it worth it ? Thanks
It only worth doing if you want 300 bhp + not for original cars

That's a new thing I learn well done...where u can get the tool..?
Thanks for watching and for the comment 😉😉😉😉 tas a ser corioso tras o motor k eu faço isso na boa😉😉💪💪💪💪
Qual a maior vantagem desse processo
@@leandrogarcia9200 mais ar, mais combustivel = mais potencia
We do Appreciate it!!!!!!
Do you have a link to where you got the tool from?
What is that tool called that you used to machine the pocket?
what do you think..i want make 46 hole in piston .. did you try ever to make biger hole then 42?
No never
Where can i get the tool please ? Awesome videos, keep going thank you 👍
Thanks for watching and for the comment.
This tool luis Silva from #SKILLATURBOS gave to me two years ago I don't know where they got from 😉
@@HelderPutoPerformance by the look of it i think it is a chopped step drill bit (christmas tree drill bit)...
What's the tool called you use to drill them out??
Mais um trabalho top Helder!!
Qual o ganho.
Obrigado Amigo
Is it normal for them to have a little slack?
What does this change mean?

Thanks 😉😉😉😉
Where abouts can I purchase one of those drill bits that you used?
It’s custom made a have a video how to make the tool
compression decrease?
Thats what i thought too. But maybe that's negligible since more boost and fuel
. I would like to know what it is for? Thank you in advance
Good videos 👍🏻😎
possible to do it on alh? always enlarge by 42mm
Yes
Hi what grit sandpaper are you using?
What injetors do you use with this?
Firad 120
Were can i get the part the part
Com quantos mm fica a abertura do piston?
42
Helder Puto Performance obrigado
this will lower compresion ration and power and torque will drop
I don't think so lets find out soon 😉😉
@@HelderPutoPerformance we can t tell because you had to measure that engine on dyno before and after this mod with stock ecu file
@@mirceaflorea8320 you tried a tuned car?
