Meet the new F18 Hornet from HobbyKing. This is a 50mm 4s edf that flies fast and on rails. The Gyro in this thing seems to help a good bit. The plane is fast, hand launches well and provides a good 3 minute flight time.

@@JustPlaneCrazy yeah I was up there last night with a couple of my grandsons just talking with a few guys from the club. Saw your trailer there but you were busy talking so I didn't venture over.
If it is so fast, how can you fly it anywhere? You will need a large space, right? Also, with a gyro active, you should not be running any trims on the transmitter, so please explain that.
I love angry people. It’s all good. It’s fast and agile so it’s changes direction fast. It also has the ability to fly slower. So let’s call the setting I had it on was flight stabilization like AS3X. I set up the plane with selections of no gyro stabilized or a heading lock to test control movement to make sure it went the right way.
Doesnt need a gyro unless your a newbie , I have the Eachine version with no gyro
@@JustPlaneCrazy don't always think the worst, not angry at all! I have a limited space to fly and it seems to require a lot of space from what I can make out, so that was my purpose. I really appreciate your review.

Wow thats terrible flying time for such a small edf jet...on my Arrows 50mm T33 with a 1500mah 4s im getting a solid 6 minutes flying time with around 40 percent left most the time..im all about edf and prop efficiency myself. Hard pass on that one for me!
I don’t have one, so hard for me to compare. This is only a 1000mah pack and I flew it pretty hard the full time. So not sure how it compares apples to apples.
@@JustPlaneCrazy do you think its possible to sqeeze a 1500mah pack in there without butchering up the canopy?
I do for sure. I am running a graphine which is heavier by make so you can go up in mah and give up some c rating. No doubt
