Just came across your channel and man, you two have got it! Surprised at the subscriber count..for the two videos I’ve watched, the content feels like it’s coming from a seasoned review channel! Excellent reviews as always guys - I'm taking your advice and just purchasing the Aer Cable 2 Bag ... see if it'll give my old Tom Bihn HLT a run for it's money - materials definitely more premium than the HLT, but organisation may be hard to beat. There's a good recommendation for a future review. Talking of ... I'm still hoping for you to review the GoRuck GR1 or GoRuck Bullet ... they're so well made, can really take a beating (in the wild or on the street) - low on organisation, but I've come to like that - and internal pouches and packing cubes are how I'm rolling these days. Keep up the great work.

      How many lenses? Consider the 7 litre Instinct Pro Camera Sling, Alpaka Go Camera Sling at 5.5 litres and then the Peak Design 6L & 10 l slings and Moment Rugged Slings 6 and 10 l.
      X-pac versions are lighter but the rip stop fabric makes more noise. I tried a number of bags against the first two with a Sony Nex 7, 18-200mm power zoom, carrying an 8" Windows tablet with keyboard and mouse and all the accessories needed (cables, spare batteries, pens, power bank, phone, Joby Gorilla pod etc). As long as I did not carry all together they worked out well enough but if I wanted all of it and any more lenses, external mic, external flash, water bottle etc then the 10 litre Bobby Bizz was much easier even using a single backpack strap across body as a sling. I made my own lens dividers.

    • @animaxxx4429
      @animaxxx4429 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@geraldmcmullon2465 Thank you for comment. However , I was more talking about Fuji and Sony a6000 bodies with 1 small zoom or prime for which the one you mentioned are too big. Still, thank you for your kind advice.♥️

    • @geraldmcmullon2465
      @geraldmcmullon2465 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@animaxxx4429 If you go to 2.5-3 litres (Peak Design has a 3l) I believe it would be a tight fit for a Sony A6000 even with the 16-50 mm power zoom which is smaller than the kit lens 16-55mm. Unless you carry nothing else. My 30mm and 50mm prime lenses are larger.
      The Alpaka is very small yet can carry so much.
      These days we also carry mobile phone, face mask, sanitizer, wallet, multitool, key chain pocket torch, ball point, notepad, cables, battery pack, water bottle, snacks.
      You need a small sling that can hold a 70x120x90-130 mm. Most small slings are also flat and will not take that 70-90 mm height of a Nex/A6* series camera.
      Mirrorless and say a 50mm f1.4 or the 16-50mm power zoom (e-mount) , no spare battery, no stand, no remote then sure a 1 litre cover is all that is needed.
      I sized out the stuff I might want to carry in boxes Made boxes of 1.2, 2.5 and 4 litres. Place stuff in carefully and stack for best use of space. If there is still room you need a bigger bag to take all the padding. Then when you get a bag at that volume the internal dividers, separation, pockets and zips take away from the free volume and you find that small bag hold more than a large back and some large bags can't take something because of it's shape. It makes you wonder if they every tried it with a camera at all or what ever they claim it will hold.
      I call the Instinct Pro Camera Sling an "or" sling because it works nicely as a camera sling (room for another lens and the bits) or a tablet sling with keyboard stylus both poor fit to carry both. Of course including mobile phone, chargers, cables as needed and the day to day wallet, keys, face mask and so on.
      What the Instinct does so well is take two water bottles, strap on a tripod and will fit an 8" tablet and a mirrorless camera but you may have to empty some of the content first to get to other stuff that is then too tight to get out. Being a 7 l over the 4.5 litre Bobby Sling means one or both are not telling the story in their volume description. The Bobby sling fits more inside and remains easier to get to every item.
      Your packing may be very different.

    So I just saw an advertisement for the Endeavor travel bag. It’s GENIUS. It has a removable built in “closet”. It’s essentially three packing cubes in one that then can be compressed down and placed neatly in the bag. The 2nd part is the “work” side of the and is where you’d store your work gear like laptop, pens, documents, tech gear, etc etc.
    Please check it out and give us a review? I’d love your opinion.
